  • In this particular video.... we take a trip back in time and visit Goldfield an old ghost mining town, along with Tortilla Flats, another old western town and Canyon Lake recreation area located in the Tonto National Forest.
Welcome to my channel PandaMonium. My name is Ausia and my dog's name is Moo-moo... my rig is the Lucky Panda, a 28ft 2018 Coachmen Leprechaun towing a 2008 Chevy Colorado or sometimes a trailer and 2014 Can-Am Maverick 4 wheeler. I live full-time in a motorhome off the grid with 700ah of Battle Born lithium batteries and 600 watts of solar. My channel is about traveling in my RV to different locations across the U.S. with various friends that I call my tribe, where we camp, hike, bike, paddle board, 4 wheel, go to events and venues, eat at different resturants and explore new places. Certain times of the year I'm at my homestead in Williams the high desert of northern Arizona where we are working on projects, homesteading, gardening and try to practice permaculture and being self-reliant. I am transgender and part of the LGBT community and just wanting to be open and honest about who I am.... I welcome anybody with an open mind and heart. "Onward Bound!" Happy Homesteading!

Ausia, that’s my favorite meal in the entire world! A smothered dog you have to eat with a fork! I like mustard on the bun and coleslaw on top, but that’s probably a southern thing. Im really enjoying your winter travels this year. I miss Jimmy. Is he doing ok?❤TN Nana

Awe glad you got a chance to go up the Apache Trail it does continue through that water crossing the road up further where there appears to be camping...but the Tortilla Flats campground is just as you are leaving the little town to head back it's to your right down a road its marked pretty well. There are lots of spots and restrooms, water, sewer and power. Nice if you wanna get off the grid and top off...Canyon Lake is awesome too...there are so many beautiful places...

Very much enjoy your videos. The Arizona Office of Tourism needs to hire you to promote the state. You are truly an Arizona Ambassador. Having been born in Flagstaff to a pioneer family and also having lived in Yuma, Tucson and Blythe where we spent much time camping, water skiing, and fishing on the Colorado River, as well as Parker and Lake Havasu, I am very familiar where you have been. But I especially enjoy your backroads travels to areas I never knew existed.

I haven't heard of prickly pear fudge in over 40 years. When I lived in Florida one of my waitresses at my restaurant was from New Mexico and she made it the prickly pear with white chocolate and I think it was walnuts or pecans I can't remember now like I said it was 40 years ago but oh was it delicious. Prickly pear is good plain and a smoothie ice cream. But I knew we would be friends butter pecan ice cream in rocky road my two favorite my third is toasted coconut sending a Santa hug ✌🎅🚌🌻

I love that road, what a view. Thank you for sharing your videos. $ 2.50 for a bottle of water.
That is highway robbery. Be careful drinking or contact with any spring . People have been dumping chemicals in the desert for years.
Rain washes it into the sands and underground aquifers, polluting many springs. Across the US.
There is a nice campground in branson missouri, on the waterfront,
The springs & well water was great. Now , springs & wells from Springfield Mo. all the way to Branson Mo. Are polluted with benzine & gasoline & diesel fuel. At the campground downtown branson Mo. ? Next to the campground there are some houses on the waterfront. For sale . If you buy one, you are not allowed to dig on your property, 18 inches down is toxic waste fill, with 18 inches of clean dirt on top.
The bass pro shop & parking lot
Was built on 18 inches of toxic fill. No digging at the campground.
I suggest Silver Dollar City Campground.
    A suggestion
    With all the dust
    You drive through
    Besides air filters
If u run gas in your pickup truck.
Get a small can of mass airflow cleaner. Remove spray sensor inside, let dry 20 minutes, install. While you have it out, remove the snorkel. Take paper towels wrapped around a pencil, spray it with an injection cleaner, open an injection flap with a finger or screwdriver, wipe out the behind the flap a few inches back. remove the greasy sludge before spraying any cleaner into the injection system. Seafoam works well. Only use 91% rubbing alcohol to remove water in the gas tank.
Heet in yellow bottle mixes with water and don't burn ,just sinks to bottom.

that charges for RV but you can hang for the day for 15 dollars . If you would of crossed the water at tortilla flat and kept going , you would of came to the overlook you were told about.

Couldn;t have asked for better weather, just beautiful! scenery going toward that town, & surrounding it. I haven't had a Sassparilla in eons. I felt like reaching out to pet Kellogg on his 'lil head. It felt that realistic. hehe Love you, Ausia & Moo-moo too!
