The Stock is from FBT Austria they have some really nice lightweight Stocks but 2000€ for the Stock alone is a big price Tag

I like the straight pull
I love the idea and wanted one, but my FIL got one and the action was horrendously rough. It shot well but that rough action was a major turn-off.
I am reminded of a recent video from Backyard Ballistics - he restored a Mannlicher M95 straight-pull rifle from 1915. He agreed that the action took a lot of force to operate; much more than a bolt action. Good enough reason why bolt actions are still used to this day over straight-pulls.

Not a bad rifle! but I think that the Ross mk|| rifle would be better modernised with a over-under scopemount and done in carbon fiber ,built with a long or short action for different cartridges

I’m a left eye dominant so rifles are hard to find for me. I love straight pulls and guns with straight bolt handles like a Mosin or a Mauser because I can reach over the action. So I’ll be looking into these!

Good option for Australia that does not allow semi autos, some of the semi autos that have been converted to straight pull/lever release are awkward to use.

Why can’t they get this rifle correct. I want a 16” barrel on a light weight rifle I can put a high end carbon fiber stock on.
Probably the same reason they don't make the Impulse Mountain rifle in 280 Ackley (my choice for an LA). Somebody doesn't think it's a big enough seller.

I thought straight pull was popular in Europe because the peasants are only allowed rifles that are manually cycled.
Not really semi's are mostly legal
Semi Auto Rifles in Germany have one limitation for Hunting only 3 Rounds in the Gun(Bolt Actions as much as you can fit in the Magazin / Semiauto on the Range 10 Round Mags), and we have Caliber Restrictions for Hunting minimum 6.5mm, minimum 2000 Joule Energy at 100m,
Semi Auto are heavier then Bolt Action Rifles, when you train with a good Straightpull you are nearly as fast as a Semiauto
I honestly don't like the straight pool due to if you haven't excessively overcharged around the book and just fly straight back unlike a regular bolt action that has a locked
