    1. Cut carbohydrates (bread, pasta, juice, etc.)
    2. Drink water
    3. Drink hot lemon/green tea
    (About 2 cups)
    4. Walk every day (25 minutes or more)
    5. Workout everyday (give your body a break between workouts)
    6. Intermittent fasting (skipped breakfast and lunch but do what works for your body)

    I think the most important thing to highlight in regards to weight loss. Is fat/weight loss is ONLY thanks to a calorie deficit. Cutting out carbs doesn’t make you lose fat, if you eat a surplus of calories that aren’t carbs you will put on weight. If you want to cut carbs, you absolutely can, however just know that you cutting carbs will not make you lose weight. You must be eating less then you’re burning, it’s as simple as that. Exercise more, and eat less/eat less calories. Most likely if you eat less carbs you will be eating less calories so that’s why you lose weight. Also carbs causes water retention, so losing 15lbs the first couple weeks is primarily down to a loss of water weight, it’s not 15lbs of fat. Congratulations, on your weight loss, you should be proud!!! It’s just important that people understand that they can still eat carbs and other foods in moderate amounts and experience weight loss too xx

      you don’t know anything about carb. carb triggers more insulin much much faster. triggers hunger. It's the reason some peeps face weight loss plateau. do more research son.

    • @lolgirl675
      @lolgirl675 4 года назад +59

      f4 Had whether or not it triggers hunger is irrelevant, the point is that fat loss is due to a calorie deficit, it is purely scientific. Hunger is an external factor which can affect how many calories you consume, however if you strictly count your calories everyday and exercise to ensure you are in a calorie deficit you will lose fat, that’s a fact. Also the reason you experience a ‘plateau’ is not just because of carbs, if you are allowing yourself to eat more calories because you’re more hungry, to the point that you’re no longer in a deficit, you won’t lose fat and this may manifest in a ‘plateau’ however it’s not because of carbs it’s because you’re consuming more calories than you’re burning. Majority of the time anyway, plateaus are just due to your body needing time to catch up or factors like sodium intake, water weight, constipation etc. The point is you literally cannot dispute that, no matter what in regards to weight loss (fat loss) it always comes down to calories. You saying that carbs make you hungry, so carbs make you eat more, so carbs make you gain weight... No... if you’re eating too much carbs you’re eating too much calories, it’s the calories that will make you gain weight. I think you should do some research love xx

      @@NewDarkKnight I did kito and lost 20kg, but spent most of my time craving bread than ever! Constantly trying disgusting replacement breads....then after about 5 months the weight loss stopped! Basically I have lost weight on kito diets ..low fat diets.....reduced calorie diets...they are all the same! You just gain one thing you can eat and loose another! I think to eat healthy foods as much as you can, regulating all the calories as you go...I personally have always done intermittent fasting..cos it really helps! And occasionally I eat what I want. Starting again the next morning! Low carbs diets are just too restrictive for most people long time!

    YESSSS. The first few minutes of this--this is exactly how I feel about 'diets' and 'keto.' I did try keto for awhile but gained back everything I lost 2 fold. HA... I recently started just cutting carbs out and eating more whole foods which has been great without so much pressure of following certain rules because when I do slip and have idk a piece of chocolate, I don't beat myself up for it which just feels so much better. I've also started intermittent fasting and find myself eating less in total, less snacking because my meals are so close together I eat enough during my meals. I have been working out minimally (aka Chloe Ting yay) but I think a lot of my progress has been just a combination of all of these. I'm currently 8 lbs down and I can't wait for more! Congrats on your journey!!!

    there are no “bad” carbs if they are eaten in moderation. cutting out an entire portion of a food group is actually not healthy, your body needs starch and carbs for energy. as long as they are consumed in moderation and with balance and variety, carbs are beneficial for your health. and they will help you with energy and satiety.

    I’m studying nursing...whatever works for you I’m happy. I don’t judge people how they choose what method to loose weight...However, I always try to eat foods from different categories such as carbs, vegetables, fruits, proteins etc. it’s always healthy to have food from different nutrition needs. I’m always trying to loose 20lbs as well. I think weight loss is not only a diet but lifestyle change. Once you stop working out, you’ll gain back all the pounds you lost. Good job girl :)

    A thing that is just really logical but helped me a lot is: If you want to stop eating when you’re comfortably full than start eating when you’re comfortably hungry.
    Because I used to not eat really regularly but when I ate I was so hungry that I always overate and felt terrible afterwards. But I learned that I gotta eat when I don’t feel like starving but just normally hungry

    I've been doing one meal a day or OMAD for 10 days and I'm down 8.3 pounds. I dont exercise but I did change my eating habits. To really kick speed my weightloss, starting next week I will introduce 5min HIIT workouts 3x a week and try to get my 10k steps in on my off days. That's it. That's all it takes. Sounds simple and it is but it's not easy because it takes discipline. I'm working on changing my food habits and how I think of food. That's the most important thing for me.

  • @ronnieking3848
    @ronnieking3848 4 года назад +2

    You did OMAD which is the hardest IF. You probably can do IF and have an 8 hour eating window and 16 hour fast. It's more sustainable. I eat 2 meals between Noon and 8 pm. At 10pm, drink a tablespoon of Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar with a glass of water and that will cut your appetite.

    I want to tell everyone out there you are not alone in this journey! 💛 you can do it do not restrict your self from things you enjoy , as it can lead to eating disorders like binge eating. Moderation is key 🔑 you want hot Cheetos get a small bag, want chocolate have a piece. Be consistent! Start by tracking your meals..being on a diet you might be under eating way to much so tracking helps to have an understanding of what you put in your body..small changes at first ! don’t go extreme patience 😄 I eat once in a while out have bread , rice, candy, cake, chips, cookies all in moderation and every once in a while I have lost 70lbs it’s a life style change if you ask yourself can I go my whole life without it how will I do it ? Then your doing it wrong . Restrict your self now and you will gain it back +more

I need to lose at least 40 pounds. I'm 175 my heaviest I've ever been. I had my son back in 2015, lost most of the weight. Gained it all back tho and some. Lost all of it, bc my son was my little exercise haha & I ate better. Last yr into this year college stress + always eating out got to me :/ anyways l loved your overall advice! I can't cut them out fully ,however when I do well then I find I occasionally binge on junk now and then, so I decided just to add little in my diet, like fruit occasional chock bar or buscuits or 2 that way I won't binge. It will take time probably this way but I rather have a little when I feel to, then go and have binges. 10 min workout or more each day and I've lost weight too

    Girl I just screamed!! U lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks by cutting out bad carbs?! I’m Portuguese and eat rice almost every day!! Like, I can’t 😂😂 but I also cannot get my damn scale to move 😢😢😢 so, can I just cut out rice for 2 weeks and see what happens? Maybe lol 💡💡💡 I’m gonna need the strength of the lord to get off rice for at least 2 weeks 🙏🙏🙏 pray for me lol 🙌🏽🙌🏽

    You shouldn't tell people to cut out carbs. It creates a negative association and can trigger people to get into a very unhealthy restrict and binge mindset. You should be promoting balance, consistency and sustainability.
