      First 6-12 months are really harsh in the UK. Many of us had the same feeling. Going back is always an option but it's important to reflect why you came to the UK in the first place.Please feel free to book a session , if you wish- topmate.io/suman_paul86/

    Hi Sir, I’m completing my MS General Surgery and plan on giving MRCS and joining Plastic Surgery Speciality in the UK. Can I join the training directly at ST3 and not do a non training job? What exactly is the purpose of a non training job?

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc  Год назад

      You can apply for ST3 plastics directly but realistically you dont stand a chance without UK experience. The purpose of a non training job is to work on your CV so that you have a realistic chance to be succesful in your application.

    Sir thank you for the encouragement. I have heard it is very difficult to get into speciality training, how true is this ? If not a training post , atleast can we comfortably get a non training post till we get into training post

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc  Год назад

      Specialty training is competitive - that's correct. Most IMGs will start their career with non training posts in the UK.

    Dear doctor,
    what will be the best route to enter training in hpb surgery for surgeon who has passed MCh surgical gastroenterology with 2 years postMCh work experience and MRCS.
    Can we apply for hpb surgery training job via commitment to speciality pathway? If so could you explain the required pathway.

      You can't get HPB training posts but can apply for HPB surgery fellowship posts after MRCS.
