Hi sir, we are living in london for 1 years and working in nhs. We did not find uk as expected in weather, relation. So we decided to go back India. But sometimes we think are we doing some wrong in our life to go back. We are really puzzled. I hope u are having long time in UK can u suggest us.
First 6-12 months are really harsh in the UK. Many of us had the same feeling. Going back is always an option but it's important to reflect why you came to the UK in the first place. Please feel free to book a session , if you wish- topmate.io/suman_paul86/
Hi Sir, I’m completing my MS General Surgery and plan on giving MRCS and joining Plastic Surgery Speciality in the UK. Can I join the training directly at ST3 and not do a non training job? What exactly is the purpose of a non training job?
You can apply for ST3 plastics directly but realistically you dont stand a chance without UK experience. The purpose of a non training job is to work on your CV so that you have a realistic chance to be succesful in your application.
sir now there is lot of confusion and chaos around nhs and inflation of uk ...can we able to sustain the high cost of living as a fy2 doctor ? please reply
Sir thank you for the encouragement. I have heard it is very difficult to get into speciality training, how true is this ? If not a training post , atleast can we comfortably get a non training post till we get into training post
Dear doctor, what will be the best route to enter training in hpb surgery for surgeon who has passed MCh surgical gastroenterology with 2 years postMCh work experience and MRCS. Can we apply for hpb surgery training job via commitment to speciality pathway? If so could you explain the required pathway.
Hey Doctor, good to see your video as always. I have 10 years study gap after 12th grade pass and entering into medical school due to some financial problems. What're the chances of getting nhs job after passing plabs and gmc registration as an Indian IMG ? How's my gap years prior to medical school will affect to land the first nhs job as an img ?
The median income of doctors in the UK was higher than the median income of many other professionals. www.bmj.com/bmj/section-pdf/956373?path=/bmj/359/8132/Careers.full.pdf

That depends on how you spend money.

Specialty training is competitive - that's correct. Most IMGs will start their career with non training posts in the UK.
Hello sir once we land into FY2 will teh journey be easy or atleast moderately easy after that?
Depends on what you want to do
What are advantages for our children once we get ILR OR CITIZENSHIP?

You can't get HPB training posts but can apply for HPB surgery fellowship posts after MRCS.

Usually pre medical school gaps are not considered for NHS jobs.
Doctors are underpaid in NHS compared to other professionals. Myth or reality?
