AOMEI is the best software. I did a clone of my HDD to a new SSD successfully. Thank you. ❤
You are welcome friend.
This was enough to get a file I needed restored. I was stumped at turning a > into a v to go down a directory.
Hi, is there any method to connect to a wireless lan in the restoration env? (wireless driver was included in the boot media image)
yes it is possible. you will have to load the wifi driver during the recovery environment and then browse to the network path. you can include the driver within the iso for the recovery environment.
@ITSuperhero Thank you for your quick answer! I included the wifi driver in the iso (the software offered me to do both of the wired and the wireless lan driver) but I could not find where should I load the wifi driver after booted from the pen drive ... thus when I clicked on the IP Set menu after selected the NAS /Share option only the Ethernet NIC was offered and set it to dhcp or manual ip config.
are you sure you included the wifi driver in the iso? that is so strange. it should let you use the wifi adapter as well. im gonna have to check it out and let you know.
@ITSuperhero Yes I did ... thank you for your effort! (The software offered me the lan and wireless drivers to include, all of them were checked in, so I just clicked to OK button) ... I need to do the same operation on an other computer because my friend has 2 sons and they ran out of the capacity of the SSD's, so I will double check it too!
Can you help me sir? Now i had an issue after restore my backup to new disc it show it had a windows error when boot up.
Hello friend. Are you getting any kind of error? Any error number maybe?
hello, what is the best solution to backup, I see that it also backups system, disk...
is it correct to backup the system on an external hdd, to create a bootable usb, if I have problems I boot from the usb and choose the image from the external hdd, is this correct?
No that is not correct because you are risking your backup if you use a usb drive.Usb drives are not so reliable. I would use a small scale NAS.
As for the backup i recommend doing a system backup so you will be able to perform a full restore. you can restore to another PC.
@@ITSuperhero hi, i make Disk Backup to external hdd, after "If your C drive is wiped or damaged, please create a bootable media with AOMEI Backupper and then boot your PC to restore your image under WinPE "on another small usb flash drive 32 gb, if system not start can use usb to boot and from hdd use backup image ?
@@DJDANY_IN_THE_MIX Yes you can use the recovery image from a usb boot and the use the hard drive with the backup files to restore your system.
You can put your backup image on the same bootable USB (but the bootable part 'WinPe' will be on a 4GB FAT32 partition, and the large backup image file will need to be on a 2nd NTFS partition). This is a really convenient way to do it, boot and backup from one USB. But also worth having the backup image on an external HDD too. You can restore from a HDD, but when creating the bootable USB, you'll wanna inject the Intel RST (rapid storage technology) F6 driver into the bootable so it'll detect your HDD. Or whatever the SSD driver equivalent is.
I have an old Laptop, a new laptop (which I cannot open for warranty reasons) and an external HDD. How to clone Windos+Apps+Data from old to new Laptop?
You can follow the process at 02:26 to do a complete disk backup to an external disk. Then use a flash drive to create a bootable media as seen at 03:30. Boot the new laptop from the usb flash and find the disk backup you created earlier from the external disk.
Alternatively you can watch this video to complete a disk clone. ruclips.net/video/4iTxyuvDjiE/видео.html
Let me know if you have any questions.
When i restore it say error code-6 (please reply)
Hello friend. This the answer you are looking for.
www.aomeitech.com/kb/partitionassistant/error-code-6.html
It's garbage
Very useful information thank you
You are very welcome :)
me backup and to restore with error 4143 why?
Hello there. According to Aomei It means that your computer cannot go into the Winpe mode to continue the restore.
you move the cursor way to fast , can not follow your guide to the icons for the software features
Can you set the speed of the video to 0.75 or 0.5? I'm really sorry about this
This video is like a bait and switch! You start out using the STANDARD version, and then between scenes, it switches to the Professional version, which of course, is a commercial, retail. paid to use product. 😈
@gregoryblume Yes you are right about starting with the free version and the licensing the product but the point is to demonstrate the functionality of the software. Anything i can help with?
Well there are differences in the functionality, between the Free/Standard versions and Professional version, such as Universal Restore is only in the licensed versions. So for the uneducated, it can be misleading, this subtle transitions, instead of just making the whole video from start to finish with the Professional version. Thanks
@@gregoryblume Thank you very much for pointing the details.
just marketing/advertisment video thats what it is..clear rigth in the beginning
Explain why, not how, please.
Why? Like why to buy this software?
No mate. Why you would do a disk backup, why you would do a system backup.
Well I can think of many reasons. Disk backup is mostly used to backup a disk like external disk or USB flash drive. But you can use it also to backup your system entirely. Doing a system backup with disk backup methods does not guarantee that you can restore to another disk and use that disk on another system. On the other hand, system backup is used to backup an entire system and be able to restore it back to operation. Also with this method you can transfer your system on another device.
I slowed down the video palyback and the cursor movement is still way too fast to see what you are pointing to and reading the information, before you move to another item
How can i help? Is there any particular setting you need?
It requires password 😢
@juliovinicius1964 what requires a password?
The free version do no longer clone d HD to an SSD that is conected by USB. Im using a SSD case.
@@juliovinicius1964 Perhaps you are making a mistake maybe. I just tested the software on free version Select from the left the clone tab then go to disk clone and you can continue from there. The pro version is required for system clone on the same tab but disk clone works on free version.
@@ITSuperhero ill try again!
