For active standby fire cluster we have only one license after activate we get one feature key. Do we use the same feature key on both active standby boxes ?
no you dont use the same feature key. you sould have 2 feature keys. 1 for the active device and 1 for the passive. check with the provider.
ok!
Hi, is there any method to connect to a wireless lan in the restoration env? (wireless driver was included in the boot media image)
yes it is possible. you will have to load the wifi driver during the recovery environment and then browse to the network path. you can include the driver within the iso for the recovery environment.
@ITSuperhero Thank you for your quick answer! I included the wifi driver in the iso (the software offered me to do both of the wired and the wireless lan driver) but I could not find where should I load the wifi driver after booted from the pen drive ... thus when I clicked on the IP Set menu after selected the NAS /Share option only the Ethernet NIC was offered and set it to dhcp or manual ip config.
are you sure you included the wifi driver in the iso? that is so strange. it should let you use the wifi adapter as well. im gonna have to check it out and let you know.
@ITSuperhero Yes I did ... thank you for your effort! (The software offered me the lan and wireless drivers to include, all of them were checked in, so I just clicked to OK button) ... I need to do the same operation on an other computer because my friend has 2 sons and they ran out of the capacity of the SSD's, so I will double check it too!
the software seems different from the video
Can you help me sir? Now i had an issue after restore my backup to new disc it show it had a windows error when boot up.
Hello friend. Are you getting any kind of error? Any error number maybe?
Also BypassCPUCheck
BLA BLA CRAP
everyone knwos this
hello, what is the best solution to backup, I see that it also backups system, disk... is it correct to backup the system on an external hdd, to create a bootable usb, if I have problems I boot from the usb and choose the image from the external hdd, is this correct?
No that is not correct because you are risking your backup if you use a usb drive.Usb drives are not so reliable. I would use a small scale NAS. As for the backup i recommend doing a system backup so you will be able to perform a full restore. you can restore to another PC.
@@ITSuperhero hi, i make Disk Backup to external hdd, after "If your C drive is wiped or damaged, please create a bootable media with AOMEI Backupper and then boot your PC to restore your image under WinPE "on another small usb flash drive 32 gb, if system not start can use usb to boot and from hdd use backup image ?
@@DJDANY_IN_THE_MIX Yes you can use the recovery image from a usb boot and the use the hard drive with the backup files to restore your system.
You can put your backup image on the same bootable USB (but the bootable part 'WinPe' will be on a 4GB FAT32 partition, and the large backup image file will need to be on a 2nd NTFS partition). This is a really convenient way to do it, boot and backup from one USB. But also worth having the backup image on an external HDD too. You can restore from a HDD, but when creating the bootable USB, you'll wanna inject the Intel RST (rapid storage technology) F6 driver into the bootable so it'll detect your HDD. Or whatever the SSD driver equivalent is.
if i clone my Internal SSD to an external Samsung NVMe SSD, afterward would i be able to use boot up and run a different Laptop from the NEW NVMe SSD..??
I it will. As long as it's a clone
@@ITSuperhero thanks for your feedback.. i researched this years ago and put it in the back of my mind as something i would maybe one day do.. and i did get my clone and and running (i used EaseUS).. i'm using the Samsung NVMe SSD externally. its like having 2 computers in one. the Internal hard drive does what it always did.. But i'm using the external to run music programs. So far so good. The only thing is i had some issues with music plugins needing to be reactivated, one i needed to pay for again, and then, i was getting feedback from Windows that my OS was not activated.. although this is a clone, some things in my work flow see the clone as a different computer, and cause activation and licensing issues. so i had to work that out. Years ago i used AOMEI and i didn't have any of those problems (it worked like a clone, i booted up, and everything was smooth.. for a minute). But then when i would need to go to my back up, it would not work, or it would crash.. So lets see what happens with this one
Video easy as 123 just fallow
AOMEI is the best software. I did a clone of my HDD to a new SSD successfully. Thank you. ❤
You are welcome friend.
When i restore it say error code-6 (please reply)
Hello friend. This the answer you are looking for. www.aomeitech.com/kb/partitionassistant/error-code-6.html
It's garbage
Thank you, very informative.
You are welcome.
Can we do the same with the Veeam Agent for Mac ? cant find "official" Veeam documentation !!
Well, that's a good question. You are supposed to boot the computer with the Veeam Recovery iso. If you have a full backup from the mac somewhere then theoretically you can. You can use the recovery iso to get the full backup
But new windows 11 has better context menu, it looks beautiful in new win11
A lot of people still prefer the old one friend. I aggree with you. New is better.
@@ITSuperhero yeah, but the blur, the mica effects. Perfect
New looks cleaner in my opinion but it's ugly that it's way too rounded
Would have been nice if you covered setup of the external switches on the physical side of the cluster setup
where's the 5th option? via Fortimanager
HI THX for your help
bro i only knew ctrl shift n on google
Hello, when the cluster is configured, does the firewall that is the master stop responding or lose connectivity with the network at some point? Thank you!
Hello there. Well, it all depends on the cluster configuration. If it is an Active/Active or an Active/Passive cluster. Check the video around 11:45 to see what happens when the master node is down and how the backup master node takes over the communication. Happy to help with any questions.
@@ITSuperhero The type of cluster I'm going to set up is active/passive. The "main" firebox is already in production and is my default gateway. My doubt is whether when configuring the cluster, the main firebox will stop responding, at least for a few seconds with the consequent service drop. Thank you very much for your help!
@rafaellopez1964 you are very welcome friend.
can I not install copilot or remove fornever?
Hello there. As of now, there isn't a way to choose if you want to install copilot or not. It is installed from scratch. I recon that there will be a way to get rid of it soon enough.
This was enough to get a file I needed restored. I was stumped at turning a > into a v to go down a directory.
Thanks for the video. Do you know if cyber backup supports bare metal recovery? Maybe via bootable USB Stick?
Yes it does. Check the video at 08:50
I have an old Laptop, a new laptop (which I cannot open for warranty reasons) and an external HDD. How to clone Windos+Apps+Data from old to new Laptop?
You can follow the process at 02:26 to do a complete disk backup to an external disk. Then use a flash drive to create a bootable media as seen at 03:30. Boot the new laptop from the usb flash and find the disk backup you created earlier from the external disk. Alternatively you can watch this video to complete a disk clone. ruclips.net/video/4iTxyuvDjiE/видео.html Let me know if you have any questions.
Forcing Co-Pilot may be a deal breaker. Mac is looking better and better.
i agree but i have to say its a great new addition yo windows. forcing? i dont like it either too.
Cool! Thanks! But... is it stable?
not very stable yet friend. it is still under development.
@ITSuperhero Oh, OK thanks mate! I was about to format my computer that for some reason doesn't get new version updates and I didn't know if I should wait or not. What do you think? Should I wait (it is hard) for 24h2, format with the 23h2 version of windows right now, or use the 24h2 preview? Also, do you know if I install the preview.... will it send me small updates and bug fixes or it will have to send me the whole version to update to the official release?
I think you should wait because 24H2 is currently under development. lots of changes are on the way and it might get corrupt until the final version. In that case you should re format the pc. why dont you try tje latest 23H2?
@ITSuperhero well, idk... I am just too lazy to reformat, and I love the new AI features, thanks!
@@ITSuperhero I think I will install 23h2 for now. Thx mate :D
very helpful, Thanks
You are very welcome.
backup status is waiting, it is not work with me
Hello friend. What are you trying to backup? What is the backup destination?
Very useful information thank you
You are very welcome :)
Explain why, not how, please.
Why? Like why to buy this software?
No mate. Why you would do a disk backup, why you would do a system backup.
Well I can think of many reasons. Disk backup is mostly used to backup a disk like external disk or USB flash drive. But you can use it also to backup your system entirely. Doing a system backup with disk backup methods does not guarantee that you can restore to another disk and use that disk on another system. On the other hand, system backup is used to backup an entire system and be able to restore it back to operation. Also with this method you can transfer your system on another device.
Microsoft is a pain as it’s causing people to dump older pc’. Not user friendly for older people that may not be ‘whizz kids’. It’s just taken mme 3 days to get my second touch screen to work. Goodness knows how Did but have been using Windows since Windows 3.1. I’m 76 years old and I hear so many older people that are terrified of computers. Microsoft goes too fast. I’ve used Windows 10 since it came out and just got use to it and then Windows 11. Unfortunately most of my windows computers despite having tpm will have to be scrapped due to not being compatible processor wise. Why hasn’t Microsoft created a version of windows that will run on slightly older machines as not everyone can rush out and buy the latest gear and can’t afford too. I’ve just bought a Geekom IT11 for running my Hauptwerk/church organ setup and it came with Windows 11 pro. Quick to set up until touch driver chose to ignore my second touch monitor. Why can’t Microsoft actually get one operating system right before releasing a new one. It probably boils down to money. I did try Linux but too complicated for my older brain.
24H2 will remove Windows Mixed Reality (WMR) that will make VR Headset like HP ReverbG2 obsolet and totally unusable. A device that is 600$ and released less than 4 years. Great mode Microsoft ... good exemple of betraying your customers and perfect programmed obsolescence policy. Not speaking about your green deal policies.
I really hate how Windows 11 looks and feels, I have to use it on my work laptop but I'll stay on Windows 10 for private computing atleast until support stops, or Windows 12 drops and it looks and feels better.
I don't see any great new features in 24H2 that you need in everyday life. just a few small modifications. I don't want AI integrated into my operating system. Microsoft just wants to grab more of your data to sell it. I still have Windows 11 installed on a Thinkpad but haven't turned it on since October 2023. I started with Windows 95 in the 90s. I am a senior web developer. I now work on Linux for private and business purposes every day. Much faster and the workflow is also a lot better. The best thing about it is, that nobody steals my data and sells it. I also adapted it to my needs, which is not possible on Windows.
Why isn't co-pilot an option? We are not minions that all want the same damn thing! How about making file explorer less crash prone. It does start right back up at least but if I am doing work in file explorer for any length of time it does crash.
DELL has been sending me BIOS updates (for my DELL OPTIPLEX 3010) since 2013 and I've never installed any of them for fear of it bricking my PC. Soon I'll be getting a new PC so I am less worried about losing this one. Can I install the latest BIOS update in hopes of it being cumulative, or must I install each one (of the nearly two dozen I've collected over the years) chronologically?
You can install the latest BIOS just fine, regardless of how many versions you are behind. Newer versions contain fixes that came with older versions. However, it's best to check with Dell. Use the Dell support website with your service tag and look for the BIOS category. There, you should find the latest BIOS. If you expand the menu, you will see somewhere it says "older versions" and "read more," like in this screenshot: prnt.sc/Gkgc5bu6H_lp If you find anywhere that says something like "you have to follow a specific order of BIOS updates," then just follow that order. A general rule is that it's not necessary to upgrade the BIOS if it's not causing problems.
Really nice explanation you have through this video but I have a challenge. At 9:53 where to add device 2, how do you find the feature key on the device that has default settings? If I open my "default" device in WatchGuardd System Manager, it has no feature key... What am I doing wrong?
Good question there. Well if you go back to 01:53 and check the requirement No3 "The feature key for each firebox saved in a local file" you will have your answer. Then at 09:58 you should import the feature key of the second device. Remember. The second device must have default settings (out of the box).
@@disponibelNo worries. I hope the tutorial helped.
@@ITSuperhero Unfortunately, it is not possible to make an export from a Firebox that is not configured, as it does not get a Feature Key until it has a configuration
@disponibel You do not need to export anything. Grab the feature key for both devices from watchguard support. Paste them in a text file. Run the wizard as demonstrated and have both devices connected to each other with at least one cluster interface. When you configure the 1st (master) device, go on and add the second device by importing its feature key. The cluster wizard will do the rest.
No, did not enjoy it. First of all you did not say that you can use a laptop with a hard drive or ssd connected via USB. Second you confuses us by copying to a network drive. Third your graphic pictured a c: drive as being 110,94 not 110.94. Where did you get the comma. Anyhow, not helpful only to you.
Well, no part of the demo says that you cannot use a laptop or an external USB drive. I'm really sorry if that was a mislead. There is no limit on how to use this guide. The idea is the same no matter the source or the destiantion drive. Comma comes from Greek regional settings on demo PC.
Yup, you just convinced me I don't want it.
I'm still a windows 10 user :)
Get rid of the AI feature, not everyone is lazy and wants everything done for them..
Well... it's usefull for some tasks but in genral yea i totally agree with you.
Please Help!!! I can't get back from dev channel to beta channel😢
Do you want to roll back to previous version of windows?
@@ITSuperhero I just want to enrolled windows insider. I want to leave from insider to become outsider. But there are no solution except reset the pc to factory build
@TheRozanz try this solution answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/all/rollback-to-previous-build-in-insider-program/af6683f2-7d57-4c29-a4fd-473547bf2d3c
Oooh, yeah, amazing new feature of no longer working on PCs it was working on before the update. That is awesome.
I began using Windows 11 Professional extemporaneously with my new Dell [keyboard] which is my microcomputer that works well like a powerful typewriter, and the operating system is a bit friendlier to use, especially when I need to see more than one file or document from different programs. I was hooked on Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, and subsequently stuck on Microsoft XP Professional that I did not want to change software, nor hardware. All Microsoft has to do is keep Publisher as an application with the rest of the applications in the Office bundle, and everything will be great. How many times does Microsoft need to replace software that has already been pre-improved?
The PIN breaking feature is a touch of genious. Being greated with "Pin is no longer available on this device" is always a great way to start the day. Why waste your time doing work when you can spend that time reinstalling Windows? They are adding shit like "AI" and messing with icons when the core OS is buggy as hell.
From my experience, new features are better whith a new OS. Maybe AI or new stuff works betters with the next vesrion of windows (aka windows 12).
Essentially re-inventing the wheel
Re-inventing the wheel does not actually mean that a thing or more is already improved. Even makers need to learn sometime.
Was mir mit 11 aufgefallen ist, MS kooperiert mit den weltweiten Nazi-Medien, denn nur diese werden gelistet.
Your voice uses AI technology as well.
🤣🤣🤣windows sucks😡😡😡
I love windows 10. Windows 11 look promising and as of 23H2 version, it is really stable to be honest.
