Their evolution is awesome to witness. The melodies get stronger every album. Grian went from Ramonesque, almost spoken-word delivery in their first couple albums to vocal lines reminiscent of Jeff Buckley in this one.
@@niallq8447idles wasnt that great and i felt this album was a disappointment too. starburster and favourite are too of the best songs ive ever heard though. this song, desire and in the modern world are great but i could take or leave everything else. i preferred skinty fia, much more consistently excellent. if we’re talking about album of the year for 2024, magdalena bay and cindy lee are the big contenders for me. maruja also released a stellar new ep worth a listen - godspeed you! black emperor and geordie greep have albums coming out the same day too. even outside of that, i preferred the last dinner party’s album overall.

The promoter didn't take the risk of taking the whole Wizink Center, that is 15.000 tickets. But I think you could fill it.
