I tested it today. Feels like any groomer ski. Atomic redster, völkl racetiger. A bit more unstable in the front and not as firm as mentioned. They felt lost in crud snow, when groomers was all torn up just before lifts are closing. You really have to work hard to mske them ride the line you want in that choppy snow. This week ridden, Ranger 94, enforcer 94, sender 94, kore 93 . For choopy snow i give kästle mx 83 , score 2/10. 100kg,170, 168cm skiis. +1-, -5 c.
Thanks for all of the great video reviews. How do these compare with the MX75? I've seen a couple sources imply that the MX75 was a bit less stiff. I'm looking for a fast front side ski that is usable all day long.
It's the same build, just narrower, so it's actually more torsionally stiff. It's certainly on the narrow side for any type of off-trail versatility, but for on-trail carving, it's about as clean as it gets.
The MX makes some very clean and round turns for the shape, while also allowing a bit of all-mountain versatility to sneak in there. I don't think I can say the same thing for the Rally, which is far more on-piste oriented.
The Kastle is more exacting and capable of delivering consistently round turns. Amazingly, even with the Deacon's front side shape, it's more versatile due to the rocker than the Kastle.

Did Bob just give us some inside info that K2 has purchased Kastle? @1:41
No?
I just saw that myself.
Hi Bob. How does MX 84 compare with Head Hero e-rally. Thx 😊
