I wanted for a year to find people reacting to this song and suddenly you all popped up. This will always been one of my favorites of all of their songs.
The direction of the video was carried by Philipp Stölzl and was filmed in an abandoned mine in Prague in the Czech Republic. The paths used by a-ha in this video are reproductions of real lunar paths. These trajectories were used in the movie "Apollo 13", that is, Morten, Mags and Paul used the same paths of the famous actors Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon and Bill Paxton. The video theme was based on the reality of the band; Paul and Magne always claim that Morten is late for all meetings, concerts and interviews. In this video, they can be seriously fun back. Another curiosity is that the video was so well done that it made it with some fans who question the man's trip to the moon (in jest, of course!) ...

Firstly thanks for reacting to AHA. Ive been an AHA fan for 4 decades now from the take on me days in 1985 when i was 16 till present and I’m 53 now and AHA are still going strong. AHA are a trio from Oslo, Norway and are criminally unappreciated and underrated they have a huge back catalogue of all different kinds of music. There is much more to AHA than take on me. take on me is just a tiny tip of a very large musical iceberg and it’s still growing. AHA just released a new album true north in October 2022 and the band are all in their early 60’s now. Every AHA song is different and so is every AHA ballad all the albums they’ve released since their debut album hunting high and low have been different. I hope you check out more AHA in the future and don’t just stop with Minor Earth, Major Sky. In terms of lyrics the song is a play on the scandinavian way of life, of everything being in a minor key.Although the band had just reformed as they were all off doing different projects they weren’t getting along as good as they were before their first hiatus. take care. 😘 AHA FOREVER ❤️🇳🇴❤️ merry Christmas 🎄⛄️🥶

A-ha are extremely good live. Their comeback show from Norway a few years back is a good place to start.
