Thanks for the input. I just got an intake on my 2.0 and feels / sounds great. Been having the ultimate 9 for a few years now but hoping to add more efficiency especially when I move up to 38s.
Hi David, glad to hear it! You will love the additional power/torque and overall drivability the Flashpaq brings. That will definitely help turn those 38's.
I just installed the Flashpaq on my '21 a few weeks ago. I started with the 91 Octane tune. It immediately felt snappier and faster. Throttle response was better and shifts were crisper. Acceleration was great and turbo lag was barely noticeable. A few days ago I filled up with 93 octane and changed the tune to the 93. It didn't feel as snappy in the throttle, and seems like theres a bit more turbo lag. I've filled up twice with the 93 octane tune, but the last fill up I wasn't paying attention to what octane rating the gas station I was at was selling as Premium, so I don' tknow if I put 91 or 93 in it. Thinking about going back to the 91 octane tune, just because I can safely run either 91 or 93 in it without negatively affecting performance, and I was happy with the "seat-of-the-pants" feel. The ONLY issue I really have with mine, is that since swapping the ECM my cruise control no longer works. I didn't notice that unitl after I sent the old ECM back to Holley.
Hi Ed, good hearing from you. Interesting about your 91/93 octane map experience. I definitely feel more power running the 93 octane map/fuel. Keep in mind that the difference in HP/TQ between the 91 and 93 map is 2HP/3TQ. Also, know if you're running the 93 tune and you can only find 91 octane fuel, the PCM will adjust/detune so no chance of damaging the engine. Lastly, I had the same issue regarding no cruise control after install. If you provide your email, I'll send you the procedure the Superchips gave to fix it. Also, know that you can contact Superchips directly, they are great to deal with.
Expedition Builds - Very informative video. I Just received my unlocked PCM and going to install this weekend. Your video will make this super easy, thank you! A couple of questions though. Have you had any warranty work done on your jeep that required the dealer to do an update or connect to your OBDII port? If so was there an issue? Did you revert to the stock tune before going to the dealer? Thank you!
Hi Wally, good hearing from you. I think you're going to love the additional performance the Flashpaq brings. I have not had any warranty(dealer) work done so no updates on my PCM. It is recommended that you switch to the stock tune if/when you go to the dealer. Let me know how your install goes and thoughts on it all.
Hows things since the installation everything still going as it should? I have a S&B intake, mishimoto charge pipe w/ turbosmart bov, and the flowmaster 3" outlaw exhaust... makes me wonder how much more power it'll make
Hi Jon! The tune has been flawless and love the performance it brings. With your performance mods, this tune sounds like it would be the finishing touch? Tell me about your Turbosmart BOV. What did you find with that addition?
Hi. The tuner cost is ~ $540.00. A couple of ways to do this. Follow the instructions on the Superchips website. - Send your PCM to them to be unlocked. They send it back with the new tune. - Buy a new PCM (with tune) and keep you stock PCM (+$600.00) Let me know if you have any additional questions, glad to help.
@@ExpeditionBuilds This still work for the 2024 model? I thought I heard somewhere that these no longer work for some of newer models, but I may have dreamt that. Haha Great video btw!
@@bcraftmath I'm not sure about whether or not this tune works on the 2024? I plan on checking in with Superchips next week and I'll ask about the status for the 2024. Thanks for the compliment on the video✌🏻
@@ExpeditionBuildsI'd appreciate that! I don't see a flashpaq fire my 24 4xe 2.0, but man of love something like this to get a lil more umph from the bottom.
Hi Humberto! I spoke with Holley/Superchips about this very topic a couple of weeks back and was told they do not currently offer tuning for the 2024. I just inquired again asking if a 2024 tune is in development. I'll let you know what I hear back.
Hi again, I got a quick reply back from the tech(s) at Holley. Flashcal products and support for the 2024 are available. The tune is in the works. No ETA available yet. For 2024, Jeep is using a new ECM type and Holley/Superchips is working on it. Hopes this helps.
Great review and install guide. It was so helpful for first-time users like myself
Hi Jevon, great to hear the video helped. .

Also, Would this eliminate the existing Tazer I have on my jeep?

@@davidamarquez Yes, I removed my Tazer and run the functions via the Flashpaq tuner now.
Sweet vid! Get a blow off valve next you’ll love it! 🤝
Thanks JD! Tell me what I can expect with the addition of a new blow-off valve? Which one do you run?
I was looking for videos on this tuner and this is the best explained video out of all of them and which intake are you running?
Hi and thank you for your post. I'm running Holley's inTech intake which is a great addition. Sadly, they don't sell it any more for the 2.0L.

Yeah i heard it to but I might go with mishimoto intake and how is your tuner performing, any issues. Thanks for your reply.
@@navdeepdhaliwal7503 I think the Mishimoto should be great...they definitely did their research developing it.
