Yeah I think I ended up moving on to some other things. I’ll have to circle back to this as that red headed chick in the White House says all the time.

Nowadays, with the advent of iPads and tablets, having a 1000 songs to choose from isn't what it used to be. Some of us can still do it old school. But, the key to making the big bucks is committing songs to memory.

@@kmacdc4 yes, reading lyrics off an iPad is unprofessional. I’ve said it many many times on this channel. Having something to reference a song lyric that you haven’t played in a long time it’s totally acceptable. I’ve gone from the big notebook back in the day, on a music stand off to the side to the iPad, which I found was just too big and bulky in front of me and I didn’t like the way it looked and mind you I used a mini iPad, now I just have my phone because I have so many hundreds and hundreds of tunes. Sometimes I might not play a song for a few years and if I don’t remember all the lyrics exactly perfectly I’ll bring up a reference. Sometimes I use the phone to record myself while I play although the angle is not flattering. Sometimes I’ll use the phone to look up my song list if I can’t think of a tune to play. I want to play something that I don’t play all the time. And that’s where the GuitarTapp lyric reference comes in.
