    Peacock reference:
The basic concept of this song is based on a folk story, where the lead girl is abducted by the king but she remains loyal to her love of life and resists the king by not eating anything, eventually the king has to send her back to her village seeing her resistance and persistent nature.... so when she is coming back to her village, the people of her village give her a grand welcome singing "AYI AYI" means here she comes (victorious queen)..... the entry of the peacock actually is symbolizing her's coming back to the village.

Ananya you have to know many things about sindh . Sindh is the oldest civilization of sub continent . Name India is derived from sindh. The story concept is about a traditional tale of a girl marvi who was kidnapped by local raja and in the last she won and he had to leave her in her tribe so she came victoriously .the song is all about that

Hi, let me help you understand this. Basically, it's the story of Umar Mari, a folklore from Umerkot Sindh. Mari was in love with Umar and she was very pretty. The king of that time forcefully took her and wanted to marry her. He locked her in his castle of Umerkot. Mari was so faithful and a woman of honor, that she didn't accept the king's offer. He promised to give her all the assets she wanted. Mari never agreed and denied everything. Throughout this period she did not eat anything and went on a hunger strike where she was locked up. She said I would rather die than be disloyal. Ultimately king had to surrender. He released her and respectfully sent her back to her village where she was welcomed as a heroine and finally, she ate a simple meal at home. This is beautifully symbolized by the peacock in this song. I read this story when I was very young. I am a Visual Arts Student.

Jamalo sheedi was a sindhi prisoner who was offered liberty on the condition that he crosses the train from a newly constructed Landowne bridge in Sukkur, Sindh. He successfully crossed the train and on the other side his wife started dancing chanting: Here he comes jamalo victorious ( muhnjo khati ayo khair san Ho Jamalo! ) this song has become part of Sindhi culture.
In this song too Marvi comes back to his village after refusing to marry the king of that time Umar. Villagers are welcome Marvi saying: Ayi ayi here she comes back.
Keep this context in mind and listen to the song again

JAMALO SHEEDI this name has huge influence in Sindhi culture and that is why it was used in the rap part and the whole song is about an insane folk lore of MARVI who was abducted by the king of that time destined to be his queen and it wasn't the case of just abduction the king loved her but MARVI never did so she convinced the king that instead of being a forceful relation he should take her back to her people and the day she returned her whole village said aayi aayi (here comes she) and the peacock in the video is the reference to cholistani culture

Very well explained to further add In the folklore Umar Marvi, Marvi takes center stage as a young Khaskheli girl from the Panhwar tribe, seized by the ruler of Amarkot, Umar Soomro, captivated by her beauty and desiring to marry her. Rejecting his advances, she endures years of captivity within the ancient Amarkot Fort. Marvi's bravery has enshrined her as an emblem of profound affection for one's land and country.

As I sat down to listen to "Ayi Ayi Ayi" for the first time, I didn't know what to expect. But as the hauntingly beautiful Sindhi lyrics began to flow, I was transported to a land of rich history and tradition. The song's three captivating stories - of King Umer and Marvi, Hojamalo, and the cultural heritage of Tharparkar - wove together seamlessly, painting a vivid picture of a region steeped in courage, love, and resilience.
As I listened, I felt a deep connection to the stories being told. I imagined myself walking through the ancient streets of Sindh, feeling the warmth of the desert sun on my skin, and hearing the whispers of the brave men and women who came before us. The song's soaring vocals and instrumentation echoed in my heart, filling me with a sense of pride and belonging.

To understand this song, you need to research Marvi. Marvi, a beautiful poor village girl, was abducted by Umer, who held power in the Umerkot area. Despite Umer offering her lavish lifestyles, Marvi refused everything and stopped eating and drinking "Refer when Babar Mangi said, "My people are in trouble. How can I sleep or eat easily? They walk without shoes; they sleep on clay," Eventually, Umer decided to send her back with respect. The song begins when Marvi enters her village, and people happily exclaim, 'Aayi Aayi,' meaning 'she came, she came.'
Regarding 'Ho Jamalo,' 'Ho' is akin to 'wow' or 'yeah' in Hindi and Urdu. Many times, people use 'Ho' in these languages.
Jamalo was the name of a person. There are many stories and songs about him. Researching Umar Soomro, Marvi Panhwari, and Mr. Jamalo will help you understand the song better. Once you grasp its meaning, your satisfaction level will be high.

    It's a Sindhi language.
Actually it's a song about Bravery of a Woman named Marvi..
We never celebrate women's success in our society via this song they are celebrating the resilience Marvi shown towards the feudal of that time; hence she refused all the offers even offer to be the Queen, she refused and said I'll go back to my people in Bushy Houses..
So they welcome her by saying Aayi Aayi(here she comes).
Between the lead vocalist is my younger Brother..

The king placed all the expensive things in the world at Marvi's feet to keep Marvi with him, but despite the passage of many years, Marvi did not use any of these things, She only wanted to return to her homeland and her people and Marv also told the King that even if I die, send my body to my homeland. Umar Badshah saw Marvi's love for his family and finally sent Marvi to his home.

There are many peacocks are in THAR desert and just because of serious shortage of water and food, they are dying along with humans in THAR. Now when rain comes, joy is speechless for peoples and peacocks.

Peacock is indigenous bird of deserts of Sindh. You can see its colors everywhere in Sindhi handicrafts, tapestries etc. People, terrain, handicrafts, houses, and style of living on Pakistani side is very much similar to Rajasthan on Indian side. Most probably they are part of same Indus Valley civilization. Borders are drawn just 76 years ago.

Indeed. Love for Art, Culture, Nature isn't limited by boundaries. Also, this vivid bird, "Mayur", or peacock, has left humans spellbound for ages. Probably this is why it is the national bird of Bharat, the vāhana of lord Kārtikeya, Mayur pankh adorns the head of Shri Krishna, is the primary motif of Paithani sari from Maharashtra, and finds reference in Kajri, a traditional form of music sung in the Shrāvan Maas.

Peacock 🦚 here is symbolising the girl named "Marvi" who returned her village after being kidnapped by a king,, she didn't accept the king's marriage proposal and chose her village and people over luxurious life 🎉 so basically the song is all about the love and victory of a girl.
