- In June of 2023, Pete and the gang head back to Alice lake deep within the BWCA, in search of great fishing and quiet wilderness and are not disappointed! Giant walleye, Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass are all fair game in one of the most amazing and beautiful places to experience the outdoors in North America - The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

Northern lights time lapse is amazing! Fantastic production overall and great commentary. Thanks much for sharing!
Thanks a bunch Rob! of course i went to bed right before the big show. Still got lucky on the cam.
Pete- I'm 98% sure you held the door for me leaving the JI concert on Sunday. I'm 100% sure it didn't register why you looked familiar until it was too late. Missed opportunity to shake your hand and say thanks for great content like this!
Holy shit Brandon that was 100% me! What a show huh?! Please yell at me next time.
Amazing video
Appreciate you watching!
Excellent content!
Thanks!! A great video and great production.
Thanks Jim!
Very nice! Thank you!
Thanks for watching Nicole!
I’ve waited all year for this!!!!!!!
Thanks John! Hope you enjoyed
Just watched it. Amazing and worth the wait (as usual). Your "show don't tell" approach really resonates with me. My only criticism is that the Cha-Ka hat wasn't in play this year!!! Great job.
great video! Watching this has made me add the BW to my list of place to hit this year! Looks like a great time!
Thats the idea! We need people to see this place. Hard to explain unless you experience it.
Hit the number chain to insula last week of August. Awesome seeing familiar sites on your video.
So hard to pass up insula. Would love to go back. Looks like the options are endless!
Nice video! Stayed at the same Alice camp last August. Got hit with 40 mph wind gusts 😃
Yikes! That place will lock you down. A couple of spots on the south side saved us.
Great trip! We went to Thomas lake. Week of Labor Day. Quality of walleye was unbelievable and no skeeters. June does look tempting though
Man i wanted to get up there so bad. I heard its beaitiful. I don't think we ever fully recovered from the trip in. On my to do list!
@@AnglingUploaded we went in through snowbank. Took off between 7-8am made it to the north campsite on Thomas by 4. It was a haul though. We aren’t the lightest packers lol
🤫 keep good fishing spots to yourself not on the internet, they can put in the effort themselves 🤙🏼
@@whitehondarider22 he can do whatever he wants. If he wants to gift someone the gift of potentially having a better trip catching fish that is honorable. He is potentially giving the love of the outdoors to the younger generation like myself. Finally fish move a lot depending on the time of year someone is up there the fishing spot could be no good
Met you on the portage into Fishdance and visited for a minute. Looks like y’all had a good trip!
I remember Cody! Fishdance was so slow. So odd how 1 portage changes your fortunes. Hope you had a good trip.
@@AnglingUploaded so true. We didn’t have much luck on Fishdance either though we mainly went for the pictographs. We had a great trip! I’ve never had a bad trip to the BWCA. Looking forward to heading back this year.
Thanks for the video! How do you like the screen tent? What brand and size is it?
Hey Matt. Nemo Bugout. They make a 9x9 and 12x12. Not sure if its still in production. Have seen outfitters renting them too..
I have had a pike get a treble hook in my leg before it was not fun.
The worst! Always a panicky pike.
Any advice on fiahing lures to take? I was trying to take note of everything you guys were catching them on. We're going the 1st week of june this year.
Species dictates but.. Shallow raps for trolling/casting. Jigs tipped with a leech for everything else. Location, location, location.
Are leeches aloud in the Quetico?????!
What walkies were you using?
How did the batteries hold up over a week?
i bring a lot of aaa and aa batts. radio, fish finders lamps all use them. we dont leave em on. try to chat at the top of the hour. Lithium energizers work great and are much lighter than regular batts..
range is sketchy with the rocks up there. brand not a hige deal. range is key.
Hey, what time of year?
Early to mid June
