You bring back nightmares. As a student I tried to do that on a trunk lock. Didn't know what I was doing and I destroyed the guys lock. That guy was pissed.
I like the mobile cars we do quite a bit of them come through the shop all the time we’re all met people bring me them, body shops, and even individuals quite often. Good video Edward Jason I was getting a laugh out of you having issues with the spring. 😂😂
I have one of those blue tools, and the gm car lock re-pinning kit, also 3 or 4 of the Curtis key cutters, but some are missing the extra key blocks. and some of the caps for the door locks. Have a great day
I’ve keyed up a couple of older GM door locks. Seems like it was similar. I will look through my old auto locks collection and see if I have any of these trunk locks.
I got 4 of the Briggs & Stratton Original 35 kits..... they all have a different content legend...... the older it is, the less stuff in it.... Then the LAB 3-1, then an OEM Metal ginormous kit..... like the 3-1, just with more acreage, and a bunch of refill packs of caps springs this n that.... and LOADS of plugs and shells for GM 70s-2000s..... I see the occasional on this now... Today I do more prox remote,s Honda ign repairs etc... the avg ticket job is far more valuable now... but it is fun to do Ye Olde Stuffe on occasion. I lost my Tire pressure gauge looking decoder for the gm 6 cut :{ Json, you forgot to spray some Houdini in the keyhole and on the spring on the back... makes em work snappy!
Thanks for the Old Kool Skooling, never to old to learn.
Nice to see you rockin the Curtis 14, vintage tools for vintage locks.
Vintage stuff there for the American Classic Car Collector -- nice!
Sweet !!! I can't wait to see you rekey the other ones .. I could use the info for when I get asked to do some old car locks... Thanks again ...

Good Educated Guess Before You Used The A1 Depth Gauge Awesome 🤗 🤠
I buy nos keys online for doing numbers matching American car collectors, locks. Those are getting rare to find. Thanks Jason!
Cool video. I think I have seen you do these before. I should really pull out my Curtis #14 and figure out how to use it 😂
I used to love using the A1 tool. Can seem to find any for sale though. The Keedex is ok.
