Terrific review! Enough details without getting too much into the specs. The plane flies like a charm and it’s so fast! I have the Volantex Ranger 1600 and 2000 which are really good gliders, but this TopRC model is super elegant. Keep up the great reviews.
Hello Bengt & Tommy As a glider, my feeling is that the short 1.50m wings configuration makes it go very fast and forget a little bit to glide, right ? In the 2m version, Tobby's flight test shows that it really lengthens and without the possibility of configuring the flaperons (the cable is in Y) it's a shame. :-(. For a 2-3€ second cable... 3S 2200 to be in Glider mode should be enough. In 4S, it is no longer a Glider but an aerobatic plane :-) What about the hinges. Are they of good quality ? Rgds, thks
Hi sir the hinges could really had an upgrade. I belive they where molded in. But im not sure. I crashed the plane last summer due to a pilot error. But it is one of the best foam motor gliders i have tested.
@@ArcticRc Ok :-)... so, not the quality of MULTIPLEX or ROBBE. Not the same price either. if I may make a suggestion in these videos; that of quickly presenting the organization of the electronic equipment under the cockpit, the system of fixing the wing keys and the connection of the wing servos. For example, for "star" models of the segment like Multiplex Easyglider, Robbe Arcus II, Volantex Phoenix S or 1600, E-Flite Conscendo... we have videos and tutorials that present this. Also, for rarer models like this one, it would be nice to see the practicality (or not) of mounting and connecting the equipment on board. This is a suggestion to enrich your next test videos. 1) Unboxing with details 2) Preparation on field (wings+servos connections+LiPo) and 3) Flights tests : with details on the launch (full throttle ? 75% ? less ?) and comments on the elongation at landing. On the 3rd video we can clearly see that the pilot is very embarrassed to land the glider... Is it necessary to have 200m of runway to be able to hope to make it land? These are important factual elements to determine the choice of a less known model. There is not only speed and ballistics :-)
I have such a glider. it's a fantastic model. Very fast and stiff. The price of 133 Euro in Poland is very low for such a refined glider. I am considering buying another one to have a spare. It accelerates to deadly speed, you can go crazy in the sky with it, cuts the air like a samurai sword. Years as if it was made of composite but is made of EPP foam. I recommend flying on a 4s .This is the best foam glider in the world. There is no competition.
I have the previous version of the 1500 mm Lighting, the only difference is it has the 3s motor. Found it to be excellent in design and in flight. Tough dense foam, very smooth finish, repairable with epoxy or clear non foaming Gorilla glue, structurally strong. Very precise flyer that cuts through the air with ease making it good to fly when the wind picks up. It is easy to set up with flaperons by putting the ailerons on separate channels to slow down the landings. Rate it as Excellent.
@@ArcticRc Ah ok thanks! That all the mods you made to it? I have 2200 4S which I may use but I’ll probably stick to 3S for now (the esc wasn’t hot when I accidentally used 4s so that’s good)
The Guys at Discover RC, Never Stop the RC sent me here. Glad to subscribe!
Glad to have you here at our channel Sir😊
Nice model good flying... beautiful location! Where is it ? ( Got the 1500 max thrust Lightning)
Trondheim Norway
You guys would like the "Conscendo Evolution" 3 and 4's. Great flyer and glider

Thank you Sir. It is a great plane😊
Nice video. I will ask what is the right CG you use?
Stock one according to the manual. Not much room to shift.
@@ArcticRc I got 2 manuals, but for version 1. In one is 50-60 cm, in second is 65-72 mm. What is ring in version 2?
@@jbml3642 well i wish i could help you. But i crashed mine so i have no info im afraid🙄
Great looking glider, can I ask what size bolt did you use to join the wings to the centre section?
Many thanks
Im not sure if it was nylon or metal bolts.
@@ArcticRc I don't mind I just am unsure of the sizes if you can help with that, it would be awesome.
@@rct2 sorry read the question wrong. I do not have this one anymore. It became a lawn dart after i fried the esc with a 4 cell during a test.
@@ArcticRc no problem I am sure I can figure it out, lawn dart lol
Thanks for sharing! How does it compare with Excalibur?
Havent tried it. Sorry😊

You mean EPO foam. It is lovely. Im considering installing speed brakes. It really is fast🥰
za početnike..... možete li mi reći na kojim postavkama letite .... Dual Rate & Expo,..... itd
Thank you so much. Very nice rewiev.
Any recommendations on rudder throws and expo settings for maiden flight with the 2100mm wing? The manual doesn't say anything about it.
I used about 50%expo on ail an elev. I had to increase travel to get ot a bit more snappy on rolls

how do u set up flaperons on seperate ailerons channel
Just ordered one of these looks pretty fast
👏👏👏
hi great video! how as it with 4S and did it damage the ESC? I plugged it into a 4S when setting it up by accident and worried i damaged something
Nope. After some mods i flew it with 4 cell. You need to ooen up in front so you get cooling for the motor and esc. But just setup i good.

@@AviationWithElliott nope but the motor gets pretty hot without cooling and it will melt the plastic mount. So make some wents😊
link to buy
Very nice review 👍🏻 I love this plane ! Is it available in Europe ?
Yes sir it is. Try to google it. I found a english store that has it in stock when i did research on it. 😊
@@ArcticRc I found a store in France that had it in stock ! So I bought it while I was there on holiday 😎
@@paulg.25 You will love it🥰
I have one and find it hard to stop it. I’m thinking of making an air brake just to get it to slowwwww down. Otherwise it’s a fantastic plane.
Is this a Hotliner type glider?
Yeah. When you remove the middle wing she really goes .
hi is it be able to fly with 3S pack batteries?
It is made for 3 cell 2200 mah. Using 4 cell will overheat the esc. It flies great with 3 cell
Very good friend 👍🏼
Nice L@@Kin! Thankz
