I have just got a VertuoPlus and frother from a neighbour who is going abroad and can’t take it. So I had to find out how to use it from scratch without any instructions. I found this video excellent both for simple clear instructions and because now I know that I have the right setup for the coffees I prefer, Americano and Lungo. I rarely drink capucchino or latte so the faff of using the frother, which you don’t have with the combo, is not a problem for me. I do like milk in my coffee but I don’t need to use the frother for small amounts.
I have Nespresso Vertuo Plus and I love it, I really don't care for opening and closing mechanism system on lattissima or the Vertuo Next, great video to watch
The real question is which one makes better tasting cappuccinos or lattes? Is it worth it to spend the extra money for the better machine? How much of a difference in taste between the two machine?
I have a milk frother that is a stand alone frother like the one on the right in the video. It isn't that exact one but is the same type of frother. Mine froths oat milk very well, as well as almond milk.
Another great comparison! I would love to hear your thoughts on Nespresso Vertuo versus keurig kcafe smart. I have both Nespresso original line and vertuo. Stopped using keurig years ago as I thought it was just coffee flavored water. But now with the 5 needles I’m wondering how it compares to the Nespresso vertuo….
Keurig's make a great cup of coffee, from what I have found out is when the coffee starts tasting week from a k cup then I have heard from some people they start looking for a stronger coffee, that is when people start using nespresso Vertuo pods. I have heard from some that they feel the vertuo pods give them a stronger cup of coffee. The 5 needles has helped with taste some, but nothing like a Vertuo coffee pod.
The only thing I don't like about Vertuo units is that they don't have a water filter cartridge, so you need to dump any left over water and rinse out and refill every morning. Pain in the neck...
You didn't add the same amount of syrup and you preferred the one with extra syrup. (You added 3 to the one on the right and only 2 to the left) Inconsistent coffees make for an incredibly unfair test. Defeats the purpose of even making two of them. You also added 5 pumps when you said "about 4 pumps" later in the video.
Thank you so much for this review, this is exactly what we want when we see reviews, simple, educational, and full view of both side by side :)

Agree. The opening mechanism is stiff on mine
Do you think the Vertuo plus makes as good of a cappuccino or latte as the expensive lattissima?
@@Raptors0524 I think you can 1.35oz expresso pod, it doesn't matter what expresso coffee maker have, that just my opinion
Can you do a comparison video of the Vertuo plus and the Keurig K cafe. Tastes of coffee and cost of pods?

so add in a frother and the Latissima does it all.. or if you already have a frother
I wonder how well these two do with frothing oat milk

@@1995Conservative awesome thank you
What size cup did you use to make the latte? Ours is overflowing using a 16 Oz cup in a coffee pod.
Same
How do you know ahead of time which size cup to use?
can you do ice coffee with the verturo plus
yes
Hi, how can you add milk to the coffee from the frother ? Is that an option on the Lattissima
Vertuo is nice

Thanks for that info!
Was thinking of the Lattissimo but its inability to froth cold milk is a deal breaker
Can you review the L’or coffee system..
I have ruclips.net/video/evF3a0k1Tiw/видео.html
Great information!
Glad it was helpful!
How do you flush these machines ? They don't run without a pod in them
There is a flush program that can be run, and they do run without a lid in them.
