Do you believe that what Loid had been through reminds us of Violet Evergarden?
I mean because of war he lost everything, join the military, when the war ended, they (WISE) give him new "life" eventhough he had to throw away his real identity and the fact that his codename "Twilight" and "Loid Forger" for the sake of the operation is absolutely not his real name. Same like Violet.
Loid's name was given by the agency.
