what I did on my nissan maxima, was use double stick table on a flat head screw drier to push in the new stopper and old the stopper to the flat head screw driver, then removed the double stick foam tape from it. then re-install he break light switch. of course I had to take it out first . Nissan is easier to install the switch but they go out more often. trade off I guess.
