Blessings to you my dude. Fr fr.
Devvon , You read my mind ... keep it up bro ... and thanks for bringing such amazing tutorial for us ... Love from Africa - Mozambique .. Forgive me for my ignorance , im a portuguese native speaker so you know what it is ....lol
First time viewer today but im extremely happy with your content ive even subscribed looking forward to more mixing tutorials for individual instruments and the reasoning behind your decision making
Mixing seems to be based on a matter of taste. Like cooking. Some people like hot sauce some people like honey on their chicken. I like my drums to sound like doctor Dre and DJ premiere but some people may want their drums to sound like Jahlil beats or or Swizz beats. Make your mix taste the way you like it to taste.
Hello devon i have a quesion for you why did you not use mid side eq on melodic instruments (piano, guitars, synths) for making room for drums and vocal ??
Personally I would have left the piano alone. I think about a live show and what sounds natural. Hip hop was gritty in my day. Some chopped samples and some heavy drums and you felt that when you rap... Producers felt that when they made beats. Because it's hip hop shouldn't it be a little tarnished and gritty?

Hello devon

he does, just not in this video
i love you man !! hahah
what are you using for the piano sound?
Do you have a video on pc power to handle pro tools
Yo devvon loved the vocals on it...make a video on it
What interface are you using
nice
Damn it's affirming that I do a lot of the same techniques . Good stuff
I think that when I look at his vocal processing stuff, I’m like “guess I’m doing everything right, even tho I taught myself?”
Please do the same for Pads
What for headphones you are using ?
How do you decide how much parallel signal you should dial into the mix?
Kinda hard figuring out what the sweetspot is
What piano are you using?
what is the app called??
I’d love to have a chat with you about our shared passion for music.
What's the meaning of r.a.w?
Does it matter how the chain is set up?
it always matter
