I have Early-onset Parkinsons Disease that started 15 years ago with loss of balance, hearing loss, and right sided weakness. At first they the neurologist thought it was early MS, it was not. Now at 50, I have just been diagnosed but my mobility is awful. I do not have tremors, and I am not medicated, but more concerning are my cognitive issues.
My question is, he is talking about reversing mobility issues, what about reversing cognitive issues such as Dementia with Lewy Body?

Certainly would like to be included in any PD Clinical Trial if it's actually going anywhere.

Clinical trial dot gov. Search "Parkinson's." I don't see anything currently, but two use Tyrosine Hydroxylase for other purposes. So don't get too excited, but keep looking. classic.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/results?cond=Parkinson+Disease&term=Tyrosine+hydroxylase&cntry=&state=&city=&dist=

I don't see any attempt to address alpha synuclein pathology, how do we get from toxic levels of dopamine inside neurons to alpha synuclein becoming misfolded and agglomerating into Lewy Bodies, and how/if that would be affected by a dopamine inhibitor.

I don't use the Parkinson's drugs. I've had Parkinson's for 14 years. I got to stage 3 and reversed back to almost no symptoms at all. I think he's on the right path,, but hasn't connected all the dots yet. My question is,, if you get rid of the dopamine,, what do you replace it with? And since a lot of the dysfunction of Parkinson's happens also in the mitochondria,, what does lowering dopamine do to help the mitochondria? My guess is,, not much. I would really like to talk with Dr. Jonathan Sackner Bernstien,, maybe compare some notes,, let him know what I have found.

I am interested. Dopamine is part of the fight or flight response in my estimation. It primes the body to do what is necessary to handle, stress, or trauma. I noticed that stress affects my Parkinson’s. I also have realized recently that my Parkinson’s may have been induced by the anti-depressant medication that I have been on since around 2011. I am easing myself off this medication now. I am excited that there is more information coming out on a different way to treat PD. Perhaps I can participate in your efforts.

He’s talking nonsense !! There is Sinamet. Which Is carbidopa / levodopa. . They give you that first to see if it stops tremors etc. that’s how they supported my diagnosis .. there is also the B1 therapy which I am trying and it def seems to be helping. Thanks to Daphne talking about the B1 therapy people look it up on utube

Once again focusing on one neurotransmitter and interim symptoms.
We know the causes and people CAN and DO reverse Parkinson's and get well.
Where can we find someone to research the REAL causes and develop better reversal techniques for those???
