      The male deputy is particularly despicable and dangerous. He is the definition of believing he is a law onto himself.
      It's not a great time in our country; we're watching it devolve into lawlessness, corruption and arbitrary abuse of the law for personal/political gain and it must be stopped.

      Cancel culture? Injustice is injustice, it has nothing to do with culture. If you mistreat people, there should be consequences, correct? Didn't Jesus say something about that? Do unto others, what you would have them do to you? Do the people that came up with the term "cancel culture" consider Jesus to be the leader of this culture?

    • @jessicascott6413
      @jessicascott6413 4 месяца назад

      @@moonagedaydream-ohyeah they should be fired ! There were alot of injustices made here I can not agree more. But that's not always the case & I'm NOT talking about cops in general I'm talking about people losing their livelihood by mob mentality off of one viral video with misinformation . People harassing their jobs & homes & or business demanding them to be fired BEFORE there is a thorough investigation . . To me that's an injustice itself. The fact that they got to keep their job is appalling. • @jaykirizz219
    @jaykirizz219 4 дня назад +1

    On the first one, I just don’t believe that she chose to arrest her because peoples lives were at risk. I genuinely think she chose to arrest this woman simply because she wanted to arrest someone. I believe this based off the fact that her mind immediately went to ‘arrest’ when most officers would have given her a ticket and because she decided to put the woman’s fate in the hands of a coin flip, and then chose the option the more likely side of the coin to be landed on for arrest and then when it didn’t landed on that side, still arrested her anyway . Getting arrested is such a life ruining event. She lost her freedom, lost however many days of pay for the work she missed, she lost a ton of money for having to pay for a lawyer and all the court fees and get her vehicle out of tow which probably made her late on bills, etc. there are a lot of people who live paycheck to paycheck and can’t afford a setback like this . I get that this was her own decision to speed, and sometimes you have to face the consequences but sometimes an officer should take into consideration The devastating affects that an arrest can have on someone’s life and they should ask themselves if the punishment fits the crime. Also want to point out that some places do not allow you to call in late. if you’re late, you lose your job. Even if this isn’t one of those jobs, she could’ve had such a history of running late that they told her if you’re ever late again you’re fired. Your livelihood being on the line could cause anyone to make some bad decisions, but this could’ve been chalked up to a lesson learned simply from a ticket. She didn’t need to lose her freedom for it. At least in my opinion.

      Do you know how basic math works?
      85mph and say she went 5 miles(to keep it simple for you), that's roughly 3.5 minutes. 90mph to cover those same 5 miles while catching up is 3.3 minutes.
      The delta between the two is the rate she's actually gaining ground on her. So if they're both traveling those speeds she's only making up .2 seconds over 5 miles.
      Rewatch the video, because what she said is literally impossible for the rate at which she caught up to her. Its as simple as that, numbers don't lie but this cop did so you irrationally defending her whilst also not being able to do math isn't a good look.

      @BenoitRAG3 it certainly doesn't work out for people who cooperate fully. If you let them, they will keep searching until they find something you did wrong. If you make a mistake and say anything contradictory, they arrest you for obstruction. Once they decide to harrass you, your best defense is recording the interaction and not telling them anything. Making it known on your recording that you are informing them that they are violating your rights makes it harder for them to claim qualified immunity. At this point, you have no control if they are going to arrest you, but you can make it easier for your attorney.
