We also have our own league for Wiffle ball it’s over now because we did the World Series like a week ago (best of 7) and the teams were the Lenca Lions and the Wyoming shooters had tons of fun we added two more teams to our league we now have 16 teams the 2 teams we added were the Georgia Peaches, and the LA waves

Damn that's a tease only having one game didn't quench my whiffle ball thirst lol. Saylor a great day at the plate and Kyle the Goat played awesome in the field and on the bump. I said Diamondbacks going into this, and I still stand by that. I can't frigging wait until Tuesday!

Some quick G1 takeaways
- Saylor is the definition of dominance at the plate. .533 on the post season?? 3-5 in Game 1? Goodness Mr. Saylor
- Schultz took a second to settle in on the mound but he was able to get out of some tough spots with some big K's. And let me tell you, if he actually meant to peg Jimmy on that insane fielding sequence then...sheeshh....
- This is the first time I've seen Jimmy get tagged like this. He wasn't hitting his spots perfectly and the entire Cats team was just making contact all game.
- The killer for the Dbacks was this was still winnable. The Heath error to make it 4--0 hurt but the Dbacks left 5 on base.. brutal in a WS game. If they even get a run or 2 in that 1st then 3-2 or 3-1 looks a lot more manageable than 3-0.
- One positive for the Dbacks was they really made Kyle work for his outs. They didn't get a lot of hits but they put balls in play and watched him really well for the first couple of innings drawing walks
Series is FAR from over. Pumped for Game 2 boys👀
I don’t think Knorp got out on strikes all game either.
i had no idea the Cats would touch Knorp the way they did.
i wonder if Kyle was pitching around Knorp at the plate to, several walks

I wouldn’t be surprised if the D backs turn out out like the 2019 Eagles. I believe they both went 12-3 in the regular season.
The pre-game strengths, weakness and x factors was a great add. Well done boys. I agree with Tommy's pick although would not at all be surprised to see it go 5 games. Love this kid Sailor and predict a huge series for him. Let's get at it!
The Saylor Shultz 1-2 punch is so scary. It’s like, they get a man on base, and you fear what’s going to happen at the plate bc they’re both so dangerous.
It's crazy until this past June I had no idea that professional Whiffleball was even a thing..Then I see on my homepage with recommended videos I stumbled upon MLW and after I watched the first video I was hooked and started watching all the past seasons and read up on it and the cool thing is that the league is in my own backyard, meaning I only live 45 minutes from the meadows. It's awesome to see these local young men doing such great things.
I’ve only just stumbled upon this channel a couple of weeks ago max but it is amazing, the production quality is off the charts and characters and stories that develop are unreal.
I love this channel so much, I come home from school on Friday and watch the games and just feel so much joy. So thank you so much MLW crew for making my life so much more joyful

Last time I played wiffle ball was 5 years ago my freshman year of college. I played intramural and led the league with 28 home runs in 24 games, but also in strike outs lol. Love watching this channel. Makes me wish I could find a local league so I can get back out there and defend my titles

I think Knorp messing around with the screwball got him into trouble. I don’t recall him using that pitch very much during the rest of the season

I know it's all already recorded...but knowing the count as the pitch is thrown spoils the outcome a little bit. When there isn't 2 strikes, you know the ball is about to be put in play. It's a minor thing, but just something I think to be conscious of in the future if we aren't going to get the full game. Really enjoyed game 1!!
Hey Josh! I totally get where you’re coming from, but that’s the rules of the MLW. You’re getting the full game. Every pitch begins with a full count. Essentially the batter either strikes out or gets a walk every at bat on the first and only pitch to them.

Well he was there you could see him on the bench and in the back round during the game. So even if he was late it was definitely Knorps decision not to play him.
Knorp's mannerisms... are like if an actual pirate decided to pick up baseball.

Some of the cleanest plays by the cats with the leather on the biggest stage. The GOAT gunning down the league's future star on a 1-3 filthy laser harkens back to Brady vs Mahomes and might just be a harbinger of things to come in this series.
This is way more exciting than actual baseball. Maybe its the editing taking out the boring parts but still.

I'm 36, as an old baseballer myself I just want to tell you guys, I have no doubt in my mind you will all relive these days and be friends for the rest of your lives. I played in a national tournament in Cooperstown on a traveling team when I was 16. All of us lost contact, God as my witness on my father's grave 20 years later I'm working in a warehouse with my brother during peak mask up covid, I see a new guy around for 2 weeks and one day my brother is standing with this new dude in the parking lot, he says "hey man, you remember me?" And my brother is just grinning and I'm staring dude and I don't at first and in about 3 seconds I do...its my old teammate from the travel team. I'd thought about him probably 2000 times since we last saw each other. I cried. Grown man. Crying. AND IMMEDIATELY starting ranting about how we should have won our last game together 😂🤣😂🤣
I'm an Ohio boy and just missed the Mud Hens game (had to work) but I will absolutely go out of my way to be catching the next one and I'm bringing my old teammate along!
