Normally I'm a big Tkachuk hater, but in this case I didn't really mind it. It's just refreshing to see teammates stand up for other teammates on dirty hits. It's seemingly rare these days to show enemy teams that you can't just fuck around and NOT find out.

@@maxamillionmoneybags Ghost is a clean guy who is small... no track record. you don't need to skate cross ice to jump him on something that LOOKED questionable. the guy pretty well tripped and fell into barkov. This is just a case of Tkachuk spot picking... at first it helps the team but eventually it wears out its welcome when your team realizes what you're doing. Staal took a worse hit last game and Tkachuk was standing right there... but the guy was bigger. I get Barkov is the most important guy on the team but like I said, it's just Tkachuk's nature. Florida will start to see more of his throwing a fit in Toronto over a puck flip and hunting down Klingberg for no reason antics and realize that this dude is just a one man show who's value resides in his above average skill and him making the other get distracted.. but in a 7 game series, teams realize that he's not worth getting distracted over and he loses his value.

Yeppers bdub. Agreed. #6 was off balance and stuck his leg out. #14 got clipped by his own player. Regardless of how it happened, intentional or not, the boarding should've been called. Here's my thoughts on this, one yes Gostisbehere yes he did trip over the guy but regardless you can't be making hits from behind up against the boards so atleast it should have been 2 minutes that you can't do that but two I do see how this isn't a penalty refs sometimes let the guys play also it is kind of a battle in the corner so that's what the refs probably thought there so that is my thoughts on this

Now, we have RUclips channels showing off every little trivial clip in hockey of this nature like it is some sort of big news. Hockey has gradually gotten softer over the last 2 decades, but it has become VERY soft in just the last 10 years or so.
