- In this video we remove the damaged quarter panel by drilling the spot welds out using the spot weld drill bit. Once removed we then clean up the inner panel and straighten the rear light bezel.Next we trim the replacement quarter panel using the air hacksaw and trial fit ready for welding. We also remove the damaged front wing and trial fit the replacement.

Rear quarter panel renewed completely changed the look of the car , nice work !!
Looking a lot better Governor. Welding is a dark art that eludes me. Well done.
You’ve got a proper vision with this project Rob. It’s looking cracking already and you’re working like a trooper! It’s going to be amazing when it’s finished. Thanks for the video and the content. Looking forward to the Truck video tomorrow.
Absolutely beautiful job, I knew absolutely nothing about replacing rear 3/4 panels but now feel like an expert.
Thanks for the amazing knowledge sharing. Love you guys. You guys are the best thing about lockdown and keeping us sane in these strange times.
Stay safe and healthy chaps 😃
I think alot of us would be a bit lost without these videos, sitting here nowhere to go. Well done Rob and Chris for keeping us entertained. Thanks
Another brilliant, fascinating video Rob, you certainly come across as a man who knows what he is doing! Time consuming job but so satisfying and the end result will be superb. First class work.
Being a Fiat 500 Sport owner I found this video really interesting. Thanks and greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
Poor mickey lost his home in these hard times lol
What with the current apocalypse, the beautiful sunshine, a Frankenstein Fiat and a yard in lockdown, could be an outtake from Mad Max! Great work Rob.
For drillin them welds, Rob, I've found using a 3mm bit through the center first, do 'em all - then get a cone bit & just go deep enough in the same hole to release the weld - it works great & better than all the "proper" spot weld bits. Cone bit is far easier/faster & lasts ages. An air-chisel is your best Pal for then releasing the panel..
Agree 100% on the battery ratchet - they're a gift of a tool. I use mine all day every day.
Rob, this is another level. Can’t wait to see this getting welded in to place then paint. The content as always is top notch. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🏴
Love to see you doing the spot welds etc Rob. Its more about seeing the detail of how you do it and what can be achieved. You can fix rear quarter damage fairly easy, most people get scared off at the mention of the rear quarters. I'm not so experienced with the bodywork and watching your videos like this are helping me have the confidence to get involved doing the body work on my pulsar myself, I'm more a mechanics guy (although I don't claim to be a mechanic). 90's import Nissan arches rust up a treat after a few British winters.
Amazing repair job. Can’t believe all the work and jobs your doing on this little car, and know because it’s you doing the work it will be a safe car when finished and look like new.
The Fiat 500 is really coming together now, well done, can’t wait to see it finished, it will look like brand new!!.
Great workmanship and viewing.
Thanks guys for helping me to keep sane during the lockdown. 👍
Another máster craftsmam video 👍💯💯💯👍💯 you guys make it look so easy good show mate. Stay safe out there.
Great video as always. Thanks for keeping us entertained during lockdown
Keep up the good work Rob and Chris. Looked hard work on those spot welds. More content please. Looking forward to seeing work on the old Morris commercial too. Cheers.
Coming along nicely. I keep looking forward to the next vid. Can’t wait to see the next one!
...coming together really well, Rob/Chris..can’t wait for the paint job..
Great work Rob and Chris looks mint it’s coming along nicely thanks for the content stay safe and can’t wait to see the next video
Love seeing these cars come back to life Rob you guys make it look so easy lol👍
Another look at the innards of the Fiat 500 which we wouldn`t normally ever get to see, so a good insight into construction, and also it just show the expertise which you and Chris have, and why it is better to put the car back on the road instead of adding more cars. I did notice the drivers door mirror has damage but I expect you have one from your parts car.
Hi Rob you’re defiantly not afraid of hard work. I know I guy and he uses the mini belly sander on those hardened spot welds works a treat. Try it you’ll be surprised. Thank you for entertaining the troops while we are on lockdown. Not easy going from 72 hours a week to zero my dog starts crying every time I look in his direction in case I take him out walking again. Super work I really enjoy your videos kindest regards too you and Chris
Its comin together a treat Rob,,& i actually learned something today ,,ie: Boron door pillirs, nice one, bosh👍
Back wing has lined up great. I like the look of them clips for holding panel on
Excellent progress Rob, very educational, top class.
Another cracking video thanks Rob! Awesome work and can’t wait to see it finished.
You won't believe this, but I was 4 minutes in and thinking of asking you what drill bits you use. I have tried loads, Bosch, Torx, B and D, etc etc, they all lose it after not very long! Then you go and say your drill bit was blunt!! That was a coincidence? I repair old planes, and they always have screws that need drilling out, they are also in the American sizes which is fun!
I bought a box of Bosch drill bits and accessories and some were ok others not?
Hope you are coping with the lockdown and keep em coming mate. This is great for me as it is the side of the garage I don't usually go in. Re building engines and stuff yea, body work no!
Cheers 🥂

Great vid Rob 👍
Brilliant vlog as they always are! I would have preferred to see you aligning the replacement rear quarter more so than the drilling of the spots on the old. Just my preference and thanks for brightening up my Easter Weekend. Keep safe!
Turning into a nice little fiat well done lads for keeping me entertained 👍👌
Great work, really enjoyed this one :)
Your suntan and the Little Fiat are moving on in leaps and bounds . We are all learning from you Rob , The scrapers will be overrun with people wanting to buy donor cars and projects soon . A hot stapler or plastic welder could aid repairs on future vehicles. Looking forward to more quality footage from you both . I've watched from the early days of the channel, also recommended as well 😊
well done rob see you in the next one!
Another great vid rob keep them coming 👊🏿
Another good watch well done,

Perfect day for a video boys, have a great weekend, happy Easter 🍻🍻🏆🏆🏆🍻🍻🍻
Hi Rob seen the boys in the states take off the spot welds with a narrow gauge belt air sander 36 grit belts work a treat cheaper and quicker. Great quality workmanship.
Regards Harley
Great improvement.
Good work guys!
