- Of course it need one the inner wheelhouse is all pushed in and kinked. But in this video you’ll see some procedures and sectioning that we can do instead of replacing the whole wheelhouse. And also replacing the panels with some glue and rivets which is all procedure.

We also use some UV putty from nuva putties and UV lamp from www.amh.ca

The power switch turned off we presume. To get a quarter panel you have to be a certified Tesla shop. Wonder why the car is not on a rack with universal fixture ie Spanesi or Celette bench. It would help in making sure the rear body and quarter are aligned
For this procedure Tesla doesn’t call for a bench to be used

Does putting it on a single jack stand on the left of the car, cause a little flex in the chassis, which may cause slight misalignment of any panel repairs? Thanks.

Great and detailed job!! I was surprised that you didn't put the door and hatch bach just to check the gaps before permanently putting the rear panel. Well, at the end it's a Tesla, soli factory gaps are terrible anyway 😅😅

What tool do you like to use to make your fake spot welds?
22:12 - do you disconnect the high voltage battery for welding? (car main battery) is it enough to disconnect 12v?
hang on if it can be fixed why do insurance companie total it? in the U.S?

Hi fabulous stuff, I really appreciate it. Just a question to you, I’m down here in Australia and having a horrible time with Tesla and the Registered Panel Beaters getting the official repair documentation. Each says the other will share, however the RPBs says they will be stripped of their offical repair roles if they do. And Tesla say they won’t. This leaves me with my hands in the air and struggling as I need this documentation to get my vehicle registered. I spotted some of the pages on your video. Any chance of you being able to assist me with getting hold of them?

Can you weld it using silicone bronze ?
We don’t use silicone bronze on teslas
Whats the colour code for the olive colour? I use nissan greenish/gray but its not as close as the olive you use.

I use axalta light green 433A
@michaelleal958 ill have a look into that. We use standox / Axalta so shouldn't be an issue getting the e-coat cans.
