What they are not telling you is that the front 'gill' lamps will be DISABLED on the euro spec car. I cannot fathom how they can leave out such an iconic bit of the design. (Let alone selling you a car with some non-functioning lights)
Erwin Mulder ah ok, even the nice hood vents are gone in the euro version too......perhaps better import an "original" Mustang as we did it for decades instead buying this euro trash with white lamps ...LOL
kubanskiloewe The hoodvents were allegedly removed to meet "pedestrian safety" standards. I wouldn't be too bothered about that. While they look nice, they seem not all too practical. I heard reports of them being kinda annoying when washing your car: They collect puddles of water that (if you don't dry them out with a cloth) comes flying up your windshield for a good while. Also, if you import a car yourself, you still need to change all the stuff that your local authorities consider 'illegal'.
kubanskiloewe The hoodvents are not illegal, I was talking more about the lights issue. You WILL have to change your lights to meet European standards when importing a car yourself. The rear sequential turn signals the US version has, are illegal here for example.

ok, regarding to the big recall of all 4cyl. ecoboosts because of overheat and melting some parts even fuel lines (a few cars burnt) we better wait a year longer :D
