I have worked for Ford (parts) my entire life, and I have also dreamed of driving a Mustang in Europe the UK to be precise. I love being associated with the blue oval and that's a strong word to use. Thank you for creating dreams that could come true.
3:47 - "fastbacks" ??? That is a hardtop. The fastback has a sloping rear that eventually was nearly flat on the Mach I. And with the two cars side by side, you can see what I consider the worse feature of these new versions of old classics, both the Mustang and the Camaro. You notice how high the new car is. The hood is so much higher, as is the tail. The old cars were low and wider; the new cars much higher and a bit narrow.
I own a 1966 Mustang hardtop-coupe with vinyl top, factory air , factory disc brakes , power steering and the 289 V-8 . I think Ford ruined the new Mustang in styling catering to the European market and not Americans , The Mustang is a American car and should be kept that way . The new Mustang is ugly compared to my 1966 no comparison at all in looks and styling the original is still the best. The new Mustang should be redesigned to look as close as the original 1960s cars and include a Coupe too not just the over rated fastback or sports roof as they were called then. Dodge did a great Job with the Challenger in retro looks but even so these big butt rear ends on these new cars ruin the styling and will never compare to the 1965-1970 Mustangs that in my opinion are the most beautiful designs period.
there 50 years apart and you can still tell they are related and then Ford f*cks it up with an electric car and calls it a mustang with the only resemblance being the taillights.

1968 the most beautiful especially the rear end.
Its kina ironic you say it shouldn't look like an earopean deisighn when it the first Mustangs where designed by a earopean designer
Bruh it's sad that he doesn't know the difference between coup and fastback.

They not that alike, and I for one would take a 1960s Mustang over a new Mustang any day of the week.

That’s embarrasing. The hole story about the roadtrip is probably a lie written by marketing ......
the old mustang was not that good of a car just like the old vw bus the value is high because of memories of the old days.
