Gents, your reviews would be better if you could be more detailed when it comes to the keyless and auto-dimming feature. Not all luxury brands offer auto-dimming on the driver and passenger side or keyless on all four doors. BMW is an example where $80K trims don't even have comfort access on the rear doors!
I have the 2023 Q8. Amazing car. Drives like a dream, very powerful, and super comfortable seats (several seven hour trips last month and my back is thanking me). Love the entertainment system. Absolutely HATE the tiny center console/storage options. Only negative thing I can think of.
While we're at it: handling is immaculate fir a car this size. There's a bit of a lag when you Floor it but the acceleration makes you forget that quickly. Transmission is super smooth and very responsive (except when you Floor it) Ride is very comfortable. I have 22s and would've preferred 21s maybe for slightly more comfort but that's not to say it's stiff at all. Just a personal preference. Sound isolation is very good (mine has a single pane window I can't imagine what the double is like) The annoying start stop isn't at all annoying here. Can hardly feel it so almost never turn it off. Headlights are great. Trunk space is very good. Back seat space is huge. Don't have kids so haven't used them that much. But friends loved the experience. What else?
@@AboutThings_byTarifI have a 2020 q8 prestige with almost all the packages, luxury, s line, black optic, air suspension, towing etc. it’s been an absolutely phenomenal car, recently got the alternator replaced but it’s under warranty so no big deal. My only real complaints are the cheap plastic and the build quality which is just okay, for what I originally paid (97k) it’s pretty unacceptable. I’ve been trying to find a program that would permanently disable start stop because it does bother me but i can live with it. Absolutely love the massaging seats and premium leather and the sound system is really good already, I can’t even fathom what the advanced b&o sounds like.
Hard to qualify this as a heavy refresh(especially with the maddening and frustrating U.I. screens), but to Audi's credit, it is one of those "pretty girls" that will always look good. I'm actually glad that at long last, a manufacturer didn't mess with success(looking at you BMW). Outside of the awful storage solutions, Audi did make good use of packaging for a "coupe" SUV. It still has a great rear seating environment. What is a tough sale: Price! $92K?? And there are still two variants above this? Hard sale over a Porsche Cayenne Coupe, which may be a bit more expensive BUT will retain much greater value.
Nice refresh but I wish Audi did a little more to update it especially in the interior. A bigger screen with new software would be nice, and leather on the top of the doors on all trims would be make the interior feel more premium
Oh, the 2024 Audi! That sounds exciting! Audis are known for their sleek design, advanced technology, and luxurious features. I'm sure the 2024 model will have even more innovative upgrades and enhancements.
You guys are awesome: consistent, entertaining, and knowledgeable. My car obsession wouldn't be nearly as satisfying without you. This Q8 has some impressive qualities but at 92 grand, it has too many shortcomings to put it in consideration. I'll keep looking, thanks in large part to your terrific reviews. Keep up the good work! Thank you.
A big THANK YOU for filming the driver and front passenger seats from the second row! 🎉🎉 it gives better angle of the whole command center. Excellent review as always!!🎉🎉🎉
Never found any reason to pay more for this than equivalent Q7. You get more usable cargo space without giving up much in handling. It is a nice vehicle but does have some annoyances in storage.
As an Audi driver the Q8 and Q7 have the worst center consul storage and the worst cup holders EVER not to mention all the gloss black that gets scratched and finger prints and dust it’s pointless to clean . If the center consuls where better though out and the gloss black was non existent I’d get antique Audi but it’s hard to get past . Audis do handle turns and weather very well which is the main thing I like about them.
Love your videos! I’m picking up a 2019 Q8 prestige with the adaptive air suspension, luxury package, s line package and the upgrade B&O 3D system at the end of the month. So excited. I really appreciate how well the q8 has aged. There is practically no cosmetic difference between the 2019 and 2023 q8 and even this 2024 is a subtle upgrade❤
@@hurryupndie-ym7te so I think if you’re gaining more technology like the luxury package with the massage seats or the adaptive air suspension or the upgraded bang all some Soundsystem or you have extremely high miles then maybe go ahead and upgrade to a newer vehicle really depends on your budget. I could’ve had maybe a 2021 or 2022 with the same miles or a little under but it would’ve only been a premium plus and not the prestige fully loaded so it really comes down to what you want and what you can justify.
