Wahahahaha I love that “You better praise him”. A few weeks ago we went to a mostly African American Pentecostal church with some friends. My very Caucasian husband shouted an amen and there was this teeny tiny black lady behind us who YELLED even louder: “YASSS YOU BETTER PRAISE HIM”!!! Every time he said something she was in agreement. I just died laughing the whole service. She gave us the biggest hug after service, she was the cutest!
Slain in the spirit isn’t biblical It’s a traditional thing made up by churches you will not find slain in the spirit anywhere in the Bible but I must say whatever draws one closer to the lord as long as it’s done by faith for his glory then amen to it
I think it would be cool to have another woman on the panel who wasn’t Christian maybe Muslim so we could get actual perspective on a different belief but they all generally have the same religion so it’s not really a taboo subject

They don’t have to avoid to say things just because they don’t want to hurt the other person ( more likely who are not even going to relate). Hence I’m glad of the harmony present at this point!
cami j it’s not rare to find people of different backgrounds and religions to talk openly the world is full of ignorance there’s always gonna be those out there, it’s only if you go into the world with the idea that no one will accept you, you can’t have open conversations, we need daytime to have a diverse group like that so they can set that example for us. The media also has a way of shaping the way we think of the world around us and it’s not the actual reality. It’s not as bad as people make it seem. There’s always going to be backlash and people who don’t approve but that’s the first step to real acceptance. Look at every revolution we’ve ever had.

When I was 12 or 13 I went to a friends house and they were really religious we sat in a circle with a bunch of other girls and started to talk about God almost instantly I started bawling like a baby I don't know why I just couldn't help it it just came out of me. It was an experience like no other I had committed sins at a very early age and I felt he was trying to get through me. Unfortunately it took years of mistakes for me to finally realize how much I needed God and jesus in my life. But they are both here now in my soul and heart and I'll never let them go again... I love you God i love you jesus i love you Angel's. Please keep believing in me even when I don't believe in myself.

You Tube hey Yh they do talk during ad breaks but to each other not to us! Loni was quite rude think she was ready to go on her spring break as this was the last show. Tamera was sooo sweet she interacted with us and Jeannie waving at us. Adrienne didn’t do much she waved once I think she’s sooo tiny but she looked cute. My experience was great I’m from the UK so was soo cool to experience it here on vacation.

Tamera is my mom. I went to an African church and the pastor invited the visitors up. So my mom, siblings and I went up to the front and the pastor started praying over us. He had us hold hands and while my siblings and I just stared at each other like he is really feeling this, my mom was right their praying in the spirit and soaking it all in. All of a sudden he anointed out heads and pushed us all down to the ground since we were linking arms. My siblings and I were *SHOOK* but my mom was practically doing Tamera's shout dance horizontally 😂😂😂

The more I hear Tamera's upbringing I never knew how her African-American heritage was so strong! Of course, her mom is but it doesn't mean foods, music, history, dance, church-related and common remedies for all Afro Americans. I see this common with Black mother and White father than with White Mother and Black Father unless those children have a relationship with the Black's father's side of the family.
Anyone else who went to Taize in August 2018? I did and I was so into it! I'm usually not into adoration but I then realised that the way our church does it doesn't fit my liking and that there are more ways than one to do adorations. I got so emotional that week and I never wanted to leave!
