Mate, I subbed a while ago and I'm nearly 60 but have always seen "lawn maintenance" as "slashing the paddock occasionally". I've bought an old property on the MidNorth Coast to retire to and you are my guru for cultivating some actual lawns.

How long after a newly seeded lawn can you aerate or detatch? Do you have to wait a year or months? I wasn't able to do it at seeding. I seeded bare ground in March. Thank you. Good content!

If I am creating my own green using my existing lawn, should I sand level 1st then seed on top or seed 1st, let it grown and then sand level?

Hi mate quick one re the pre emergent.... you've obviously overseeded so how long do you need to give it before applying pre emergent? I've done a complete kill off and re seed but want to get some barricade down as soon as I can to help with the dreaded poa issue! I'm. From the UK and just put down Barenbrug Rpr (Can't get your mix sorry)

was watching some interesting doco on Augusta National and their use of Rye grass to get that insane green look, where as all the other courses in the area use the local bermuda. I guess they have t he advantage of closing Augusta during the summer
