    I've been using the Thermacell MR300 here in Central Florida ever since they came on the market. It did such a great job I decided to try it in The Everglades and 10,000 island area of south Florida. It did the same great job of keeping the mosquitos away. Trust me on this , south Florida has a bumper crop of mosquitos wanting to terrorize a person. The NITECOR is interesting but I have found that anything electronic eventually breaks down on you. Plus using it as a power bank even draws down the batteries quicker. I have a small , pocket size , power bank that does that and only that. I'll stay with my old time , non electronic , Thermacell MR300 Like the old saying ..." If it ain't broke , don't fix it."

    Does it work while it's charging or no?
    Edited to add: asked and answered. Thanks 👍
    Edited one more time to add: I really like the idea of being run the scavengers at campsites off without leaving my tent and without hurting anything. I don't want to hurt them. I just don't want then trying to get into anything.

    Compare apples to apples.
    If you want to double the use duration of the EMR10, you don't need to bring a power bank. You just need to bring two extra batteries.

    Ijust got a device over here...a cross between a flextail tiny and a EMR10....has twin small mats and ultrasonic but no gizmos and flah-flahs like flashlights. Supposedly 5000 mah bat. $30can. Obviously being January there is no way to test it for another solid 5 months.

      @@roberthammenrudh this may sound awful but I’ll try to convey what struck me about the sound. It sounded like the sound was from inside a studio, it was too good?! It weirded me out. I heard the birds but no wind, the lipsync was correct with the words, i saw the lapel mic so I figured it was recorded on the spot but something was off. Perhaps there was a noise cancellation present? Listening to me describe it the sounds was a bit too perfect. Unnatural so to say.

      Good question, since you’re mostly are moving I would say it depends! If any wind… not much protection, otherwise a bit! It’s mostly for when still like in camp or outside eating and stuff like that!

    I hate mosquitos, so does my body, the real problem is they love me, and my body! just one bite is two weeks of agony and a new scar to the war wounds, and those scar still itch years later! But still, that Nitecore, 99€! That sounds a tad excessive. Have you checked out the Flextail one? It's half that price, you did a good review on their pump, maybe they'll send you one of theirs to try out? p.s. ask for two, and send one to me ; )

      Well I think I mentioned it’s the same active ingredient as Thermacell (prellarhrin) so yes, it works and takes about 8-10 min to fire up. Most of these products use the same pads and ingredients so it’s more a discussion if you need the ultrasonic and power bank 🤷🏼‍♂️ if to go for the EMR10 or MR300.

      @roberthammenrudh  Год назад

      Well it wasn’t a “real time test” but a after using and trying the equipment kind of review and I’m sure I said it works!
      Since all these type of pad repellers use the same ingredients (Prallethrin) they all work equally good. They basically only heat up the pad to 165 degrees for the ingredients to evaporate from the pads. By fuel or like the EMR10 by electricity.
      The only thing I didn’t try was the ultrasonic… had no mice around the house so 🤷🏼‍♂️ but my cats didn’t like when I accidentally turned it on at home 😄

      @@pete2109 There is no smoke because it’s smoke free… like all devices using electricity! The smoke from the Thermacell comes from combustion of the butane! Same goes or the Tiny Repel I just reviewed!
      Not all reviews needs to be ”lab tests to prove the efficacy of prellethrin”, we all know it works. This review is how the EMR10 works and what I the features are.
