The Sisters are what got me back into Warhammer. I hope to one day command an army of them myself, but for now I will appreciate them from afar, letting their hymns grace my soul with righteous fervor and holy fury.
I know the article specifies that the animation style "is intended to make the whole piece look as though it has been painted with oil paints," and I think that's neat. The final bit of animation, with the Sister standing, turning, and lowering her visor, almost feels like a late 90's/early 2000s era video game cutscene, and I mean that entirely as a compliment. Like this is the intro to a game where you play as that Sister of Battle (probably about to do some Malum Caedo levels of violence to some heretics).

I picked up the old Adepta Sororitas combat patrol in September and have casually been putting them together while working my way through the Horus Heresy as I casually slide into the hobby. This is awesome!
Well, good news is that Henry Cavill’s Amazon show is officially out of the initial stages, and isn’t getting cancelled. I’d be absolutely shocked if Cavill didn’t include the Sisters at some point. As for games, there’s Sororitas DLC for Battlesector, Gladius, and Inquisitor. Strategy, 4X, and ARPG respectively. Not the same as a full on game, obviously, but hopefully something to tide us over until a glorious dev takes up the call.

Got love Rogue Trader's Sister Argenta. I tend to run her with a bolter and a flamer or heavy flamer load out, because sometimes you need to gun down the heretics at range, but purgagtion by flame is always the surest way.
The Sororitas go so freaking hard. You can just imagine them all singing, practically chanting, this hymn over their coms while they mow down lines of heretics and demons, engulfed with a gentle, protective sheen of the Emperor's might.
