Hey Justin, ive been watching your videos for a long time and they've helped me grow as a modeler and designer! I wanted to ask you about your Extrude Tools tutorial series you did a few years ago: did you ever figure out extrude edges by faces? it sounds like a better alternative to follow me but i just cant find a solution to how to use it properly. All it does is create guide points where the lines and faces should be.

This is actually a good example, because the 'pseudu-seamless' floor doesn't really look like it's made of wood. :)
