    I'm looking forward to your exhaust feedback. I'm also considering an option where the exhaust follows the angle of the frame, and keep it short. Thoughts? MP

      Definitely the upsweep Zoomy Doesn’t get more old school than that

      Upsweep for sure , looks more old school

      If it was my day to day ride I'd say straight pipe following the frame but that up sweep pipe really rocked, up sweep was a lot more showie. Keep up the good work cheers.

      I vote upsweep

      Up is hard man. Straight is flaccid. Up sweep all the way

    The bike is coming along nicely, I think the pipe should be inline with the frame, just my opinion. 👍🏻✌🏻

    My vote is for the classic drag style in line with the frame...BUT the current sweep back pipe is to long, because when the bike comes off the stand and the straight part of the pipe aligns with the frame the tip of the sweep will be to close to the riders head and be to loud...if you were to shorten the sweep length and soften the angle I could go for that. Not busting your balls, just having a beer with ya!
    Scott, congrats on reaching 75k subs...this channel has exploded over the last year, I remember when you were sub 10k. I really miss the moto-vlogs to and from work...Peace, Bert

    Nice bike. I've really been enjoying watching you build it.

  • @HarryMac1

    I think the exhaust should be upswept but follow the lines of the frame. If you want to tidy the bars get rid of the push cable, I did that on my VZ800 bobber, the throttle is much lighter and closes faster than ever, have had no issues running this set up. Not sure I could live with that brake light set up, it really doesn't look good. I would find a micro switch that can be fitted discretely behind the brake lever mounting plate. We all have our own way of doing things, would be boring if we all did the same. These little challenges are what makes building bikes fun.

    Both pipes are cool, but I prefer the first ones more. That short drag pipe with the gooseneck tip is just awesome!

  • @BerserkerNick
    @BerserkerNick 5 лет назад +1

    Tack weld some small tabs on the brake rod and frame for the brake switch, short pipes wrapped in black that follow the frame would look awesome

    • @joshmartin7924

      Yeah that brake light switch mount is hideous

    Straight pipe but in line with the frame 👍

  • @pgrayrk
    @pgrayrk 5 лет назад +2

    like the changes awesome job. but on brake light switch why not put a tab on the frame would look so much better

  • @Staletaters
    @Staletaters 5 лет назад +1

    Straight pipe, the idea is simplicity, so that would be the most simple option.

  • @genegomez3402
    @genegomez3402 5 лет назад +2

    Straight pipe for sure...upsweep looks cool but it's kinda too much or loud for the bobber look I feel....the simple suddle look of the low, straight pipe fits the bobber look better.

    Upsweep pipe but have the upsweep follow the frame line. Both the exhaust don't look like it belong on that bike because they dont follow any lines.

    The brake switch looks ugly. You should mount a small switch behind the steel where the spring is mounted on

    the upsweep pipes do not flow with that bike, they don't look good.
    also, id try and find a better less visible location for the brake light switch

    I luv me some Japanese bobbies. upsweep with frame. you don't want that answer but you know it would be legit. it would be worth it. keep working. I hope you don't paint it. leave it raw. I love that stuff

    Absolutely upswept.
    On builds I have had to keep legal ...( signals, lights etc) . I have mounted the stock switch assembly behind the seat on the frame. ( almost jockey shift posits ion) and in some cases changed the horn button into a start button . The horn gets taken care of in other ways .
