    Great video! Is this the same for all of the terminals? We're coming in on a charter, which I think will be in Terminal One. Are these the same gates no matter which terminal one arrives at? Or, the same TYPE at each terminal? Because I've also read that custom forms are required at Terminal 2, but not the others. But one encounters customs AFTER going through these gates?

      @@hurkulese09 That could be. All I know is that it is the law. If you want to break a law in Mexico, go for it. I'm not going to risk a trip to a Mexican police station over $12. But that's just me. I am also generally very respectful of the laws of foreign countries. 1 million people could say they were never asked for a receipt. And 100 bloggers could say don't worry about it. And then one day, you show up at the airport and they are enforcing it and then it's a big problem. I think you should at least know you are breaking a law.

    I think it is pretty nasty and dangerous to make such a terribly wrong and misleading guide. What you are saying is simply wrong. I went through customs and migration yesterday and it was pretty much the worst experience I have ever had. You are claiming they are occasionally screening your luggage? They checked the luggage of everyone by hand and and looked at all items, touched everything etc. The migration process was a nightmare. I had to wait 3 hours in a q and the officer didn't understand a single word of english. I endes up getting 10 days even though my flight back goes in 35 days.
    Look at the google reviews of the Cancun airport migration office. Its a horror movie. I was actually lucky.
    I wish someone would have warned me before. People like you made me have this terrible experience.
    HOW can you be so irresponsible and make such a guide??

    • @TripswithAngie
      @TripswithAngie  2 месяца назад +1

      I recommend checking the dates of the videos you are watching. The title clearly states this was my experience going through security in 2023. I also recommend booking with a travel agent. I let all my clients know exactly what to expect based on the current conditions. And if you want to make sure the customs and immigration officers only speak English - only go to countries where the official language is English.
