I haven’t seen that variety of Silvertowne bars either. Good looking bars. Those flips are probably fine. Presumably the dealers vet their stuff 🙄 though you never know. The Sovereign caught my eye for sure. I resisted stacking those for a long time but have been stacking them at every opportunity for about 2 years now. Nice deals on the eBay bucks to get gold and silver.
Thanks and glad to hear you have been stacking the gold - looks like the prices (at least to buy them) are up like 40% from what they were 1-2 years ago. Hopefully you are doing really well on those buys.
Nice silver pick-ups gold is always good to have. The flips you don't want to use are flexable and will have a plastic smell to them . The stiffer ones are the ones to use if you bend them to much they crack. Grab a tube for the silver, unless you want to put them in a capsule. The gold a lot of people like to put them in a capsule but you don't have to. You can leave them in flips just make sure there's no plastic in them.
I take them out of the flips for the same reason you mentioned of not knowing whether it’s one that will tarnish. I learned that the hard way leaving one coin as it started to turn green. Caught it early but still. Now I place them in capsules which yes can get pricey once you add it up but preserves the silver and has nice presentation so win win.
stackattack of course the one I had start to go green was sadly from a reputable dealer but they have always done well by me that mistakes happen and I overlooked that.

Very nice haul. I'm a big fan of the sovereign. For storage I'd just leave everything in the flips for now. Eventually when you collect enough of each kind start putting them in tubes, just my thoughts 🙂👁
4:49 I have kept some of my silver coins in the original plastic sleeves just like shown there in your video. After 5 years of storage (in my safe deposit box) they have remained in good condition....no discolorations or anything.
@@stackattack There are a few rare exceptions, depending more on the particular coin, rather than storage method. Also, I believe it is wise to place a few of those tiny dry packs in with one's silver coin stash for long-term storage.
Just a heads up I’ve purchased lots of silver in different packaging I just keep them on a shelf in my room, I leave them in their package they came in and. None have gone bad on me. I’m sure it would only go bad if you remove the silver from their packaging.
You've bought that much gold for only 230.00 or so dollars? Get out of here! That's no fair. Some people are getting lots of gold for the price of nothing almost. What's the catch?
Watching these videos in September is enough to make a grown man cry
But not this man
Those flips are safe for storage. I would suggest capsule storage however for better protection long term. Nice pickups👍
Very nice additions to the stack! I like to keep my bullion in tubes because its more compact. But, i have alot in air-tites as well.
I need to get more of the same type so I can start doing that. It's definitely a space saver.
Very awesome pick ups brotha 👍😎
Great video. Can't wait for the video tomorrow. Sunday half dollar hunt
Thanks! Hope you enjoy the half dollar hunt - it's a good one!
Really like the look of those bars. Hadn’t seen that design before.
Thanks!
It is a pleasure doing business with you! Great video, thank you for sharing!
Loving the pickups! Thanks for stopping by!
Bullion is great to pick up now. Especially with discounts during the National Coin Week. I’ve bought 4 ounces of silver in the past two weeks.
Very nice!
The premiums are crazy right now, what price point you able to pick up an ounce for?

Thanks for the info, especially on the flips. That's really helpful to know.

Thanks Bruce. I hope that the reputable dealers aren't putting the silver in plastic that causes issues, but don't want to risk it.

Thanks for the tips. I hope to one day get enough to put them in a tube! That's what goals are for!
Thanks for sharing
That a very good price for the sovereign........ Where did you purchase it from? Thanks for sharing.
I am pretty sure I bought that from liberty coin via ebay.
I always enjoy the content. Thanks for Sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Will the bars ever tarnish in the plastic encasing? Thinking about ordering some, but read that its hard to keep them from tarnishing
I haven’t had any issues with tarnish. I don’t take them out of the plastic
Cool pickups for the stack!
Thanks!
This is cool. Am a new stacker but there is a lot to learn.

stackattack I'm waiting for a little price drop...i have been using APMEX and jm bullion
Thank you for sharing
You should turn them into a suit haha 😏
Those flips are fine but you should still stick them in a Tupperware container since the flips aren’t air sealed.
I haven't heard that before but it sounds like a good idea. Thanks!
Any high quality silver keep it encapsulated
Thanks for the recommendation!

Thanks for letting me know. That's a relief.

The 1964 Kennedy is not BU.
Totally agree but wasn't going to get to mad about it.
