If an individual had 2700oz of silver bullion, they would need about 10 different hidey holes to secret them from discovery. The consequence of this being , (if you have nothing else better to do) you would not know if they had gone missing maybe for months or even years. So, how much silver is enough?
Just a thought on weight and value, a diamond that weighs a few grams can be worth hundreds of thousands if not millions, so maybe we should diversify our stores of wealth

Hi Dr Honeypot - the issue is that I have bought it to melt and sell as hand poured silver. So, without sounding too mercenary I could sell it to you for basically 1-2% profit or hold onto it and melt. Another issue is that here in the UK I have to be careful about how much I sell - If I sell over a certain threshold then I have to register to charge sales tax (VAT). So the issue is that for me to sell you one of these bars (about 400g each) it would be £175 turnover for £5 profit. Just not worth it for my Tax calculations. I hope that makes sense and that I am not coming off too mercenary.

What is the VAT now for buying silver from Europe? 7%? I think silver is popular because it's available in just about every form available with a lot of artistic work at a price people can afford.
They have been dropping prices in a price war - so even if EU mint is not the cheapest on everything we are causing waves to create cheaper prices for all!

I ship to Dublin from European Mint on small orders they use FedEx usually 2 days max. Heavier orders it's by land with TNT and does take longer for sure. But you are able to track where it is in transit at all times with the tracking code they send you. Top Marks to European Mint so far. I have another order arriving on Monday

My only issue with the European mint is there delay with postage..
It's not often a very long delay it just depends on how complex your order is and when you place it.
2 - 15 days postage time from the European mint! That's fairly long.
