If someone hasn't figured it out yet, the 3d models can be made in blender (or downloaded from somewhere) and the website can be developed with three.js
While it is sincerly amazing on how they manage to not have lag. This would really hurt productivity in navigating through the web... But if it is a website where you stay lots of time it makes sense
this stuff is super cool and definitely a technical flex, but I think they fall more into the video game category than a website. I feel from a UX perspective it could easily be a bit of a nightmare, for example, a potential customer has to orientate themselves with a virtual world then navigate around to find basic information that may want to access quickly. The last example is more intuitive and easier to navigate than the first two examples though. I think the horizontal scrolling is going to catch on.
Is it tree.js? Did you try this tech maybe next video about 3d websites- performances, etc. Quick tutorial with simple object? 😊Merry Christmas Adrian 😉🎄
That's was sweet! Thankyou for the video Please do more And finally quality videos like your came into my feed 😂 Oh so how will these websites work in mobile version
6:13 Wow I thought no one has ever thought about building this kind of website, this was definitely my idea, now I'm being hesitant to still build this.
Those are game websites or gamesites or something like that, three.js WebGL is the next generation of websites, all this remember me of old flash websites, those where amazing too, good video
@@migueldomingos4570 I am really curious to know which technologies are used in there. I am new to web development, and thought at first that Unity with Javascript (three.js/babylon.js) and WebGL, could get to that type of performance. This page presents the Kode website under the categories "Animation, 3D, Three.js" and other (one can click on the various categories to read what is meant by their name): www.awwwards.com/sites/kode. In this other article, Merci-Michel, who built Kode and The gallery of emerging species, write that they built the latter in webGL realtime 3D technology, with the animations: www.awwwards.com/merci-michel-the-gallery-of-emerging-species-wins-site-of-the-month-march.html This is a very interesting field to explore, and I look forward to visioning more videos from @Adrian Twarog on this exciting topic of immersive web design. :-)
Are they all based on three js or which language or scripts like what is involved in these websites like you said you gotta learn what is to study to be able to get half way to these websites
Isn't this more like creating games with different assets and all it's more webgl that actual website/webapps this will need modeling skills too I feel like people who made this are into gamedev
They are great steps towards VR sites, but exactly..there’s much to be improved on. Granted A lot of the UX and Nav will be easier to correct from a VR perspective.
As an user I'll heavily dislike this sites. It will take much more time to find my desired section. And Responsive design seems like a game . Gosshh that car game site is a disaster in chrome responsive version. I hardly could control that car.

Thank you so much. I am your lovely suscriber since 24K . ❤❤
@@tirthatimalsina4861 It’s great to hear! Honestly! Brings a smile to my face :)
I was feeling proud that I am able to center a div, and then I came here...
In flutter all u have to do is Center(div) 😂
Same😆
Just use display: flex; justify-content: center; align-items: center bro. I know it's a joke tho :p
@@raptyaxa5771 Let me save your comment, I might get use of it in future in big projects.😅

If this is the standard of web development, time for me to learn or end up back in the gas station lol. That is Insane
Yep it’s getting to that level, next websites will make us question what a website is! AR, VR, 3D, etc!
I agree 👍
When game developers try web development 😉
The second website is bloody awesome :D Merry Christmas mate!
You too man, thanks for everything, it’s a pleasure and you’re awesome to work with!

as a student aiming to focus on front end, seeing this websites was kinda depressing and inspiring at the same time. 😳
The first website is better than a game
I know right!
@@AdrianTwarog big fan ❤️❤️

its three.js not VR.. There are many 3D library

What did they use to create these websites? Would it be something like React at a guess?
Which language do they use to make this kind of websites

What technologies used to build such type of websites
That's a good question, might be worth investigating!
