Mel C and Emma definitely were the singers of the group. But all of them can sing, they just weren’t strongest vocalist. & this group wasn’t about strong vocalist.
I hate this dismissive attitude of their talent. The two Mel's and Emma could sing well especially Melanie C who is a strong singer. They had drive and determination, it was more than luck.

I much prefer Geris vocal tone. It’s warm and rich with personality. Victorias tone is cold and icy.

I disagree. This live performance was one of their best but least popular. However their 1997 VMA version was much memorable.
They will always be more iconic than any black and Asian girl groups then and now.
