It wasn't THAT bad mate. If only it had a better open world space, it'd be regarded as a great game. Unfortunately, the only place to drive vehicles in the game is the boring green lantern planet, so that's why it's rated low unfortunately
Yeah it would have been cool to have a section of Gotham to explore and drive around but I enjoyed the game for what it was when I was young and the character roster was in my opinion the best out of the Lego Batman games

The game is missing a regular Two-Face character. Yes it has The Dark Knight DLC Two-Face but not a regular one.

I don't think Lego Batman 3 is that bad of a game. Although I do think that calling it Lego DC Superheroes, or Lego Justice League, would've made more sense, as it's not just Batman and Robin stopping crime. They're teaming up with fellow Justice League members and even a few of the villains to stop Brainiac.
Lego Batman 2 was also Lego justice league
@austinwalker2000 But that game acted as an introduction to the Justice League into the Lego Batman games. Afterwards, in games like Lego Batman 3 and DC Supervillains, the Justice League were much more prominent in the games' roster and story.
Yeah I agree, Lego DC/Lego justice league would be a much more fitting name as the game isn't centered around Batman vs enemy, it's about JL+Villains vs Brainiac

Yea same like it was one of the first few games my dad bought me when first got my ps4 years ago and it and lego avanegrs were the only games I had in my system till later on I got other games and then I sold em off
Same here, Lego Batman 2 is so clunky in level design and you have to have every character unlocked just not to have to replay a level twice to get 100% on it. It's infuriating to play and LB3 streamlines it's features and makes them more usable.
I prefer the second game so much more. Still I find it a crime how they didn't remaster the first 2 games

Imo the levels in Lego Batman 3 are a lot more boring than I remembered. At least, the early levels. A lot of moving around and doing the same things over and over and over again. The other Lego games have great level design and fun gameplay for their levels, but Lego Batman 3 is just really boring for me in comparison. On the same level in my opinion as Lego Marvel Superheroes 2.

If only they ported over Lego Batman 2’s Gotham City, cause Oa sucked. The other planets were fun. But nowhere near as fun as a normal city hub
There was also the Batcave, watchtower, hall of justice (justice league base), moon, and legion of doom base
@@westhequagsireplus8191 those were nice. But they were just small hubs. Very similar to say, the Batcave and Asylum in Lego Batman 1. Not a big free roam area like in Lego Batman 2
I played this one several times and enjoyed it a lot. Exploring the Lantern Worlds in free play was definitely fun.
I love this level. It feels like Super Mario Galaxy when you're on the cylindrical thing

The Story was brilliant the suit switching upgraded, the graphics overhauled but the biggest only real let down was the open world. Look I like Oa but there’s barely anything to do there aside from racing.

LEGO Batman 3 has my heart, it's the FIRST ever lego game I played on my FIRST ever gadget, the PSP. I remember it so well, especially the lantern levels, red lantern was SOOO difficult whilst Sinestro if I remember correctly, was a simple rock paper & scissors battle. Oh how I loved Lego batman 3 😊
I actually like this game. Mainly because it’s the basically half a Green Lantern game.
For me all games in trilogy best. Origial videogame is my childhood, sequel i respect for the first dialogues in lego games, cool gothic style free roam and original shory and beyond gotham for me one of the best lego video games ever

I always loved Lego Batman 3 since it first came out especially when I first completed. It's even my most favorite LEGO game. The extra levels including 66 Batman Levels (RIP Adam West and other cast members), the massive character roster, missions, DLC, and many more to name is what made this game really special to me. You can imagine my surprise when I found out this game was not well liked by many people. I don't think this is a perfect game but it's nice to see that there are people who also enjoy this game.

I beleive it is but then again nowadays I don't really play lego games anymore for aye I grew up and my interests shifted to other types of games

i just replayed Lego Batman 3 and i can see where you’re coming from, but cmon man the characters are so damn fun to play as and the opening levels are a fantastic start

So I have all 4 LEGO DC games and been recently grinding them in order despite having a lot more nostalgia for Lego Batman 1 & 2 I actually think 3 is the best so far, I went into it thinking it was going to be awful, but it has a much better character roster, some of the most unique looking levels in any Lego game, and the hub worlds have been thoroughly enjoyable so far so idk agree to disagree I guess

What’s wrong with Lego Batman 3? I really liked it. The story was good, gave shine to the Green Lantern lore, the different planets were fun to explore, had a good roster. I might replay it.

Lego batman 3 is my first game ever sp also one of my favorites
The vehicle levels in Lego Batman 2 were genuinely fun and a big step up from the first one, so why they went back to the playing style of the first one’s vehicle maps for the third one is beyond me. Between that and the lack of an interconnected open world environment the game really suffered. In all fairness though they redeemed themselves with the gem that followed this one, Lego DC Supervillains.

Yet it has the best roster and literally has every main Lantern Corps in it. You can even play as Geoff Johns and Jim Lee
bdp1 would just skip it by beating the first 3 levels, getting mini characters and using it finding a place in the batcave to glitch under the map (kinda like wasp in lego marvel superheroes 1) and fly to the place behind the bookcase in the trophy room that takes you to level 16 so you can go to level 16 which the game noticing you havent finished the story DECIDES TO UNLOCK THE REMAINING MAINLINE LEVELS

Bro lego batman 3 was one of the 1st few games my dad got for me on my birthday when got my ps4 in christmas so in aqay this game even tho I beat the campagin unlocked every character and dont play it anymore holds alot of nostalgia for me but yk i even had the lego marvel superheroes 2 and avengers which one of em I completed while the other I've still not completed the story

The only downside to this game is the Lantern Planets at the end. Those are a repetitive slog to get through
I've 100% the game on PS3 when it first came out, the levels did feels like tasks without Freeplay mode but everything else especially the new aspect of the lantern worlds and the amazing dlc was great
