The E-flite® Ultimate 3D biplane raises the bar for scale, sport and precision aerobatic flying - plus all-out 3D performance too! Stronger, faster metal-geared servos and ball-link equipped linkages deliver positive, precise control while the beveled hinge lines make it possible for the control surfaces to deflect to high angles for extreme 3D capabilities. The new power system, with a specially-tuned motor and prop, is compatible with 3S AND with 4S batteries to deliver extra power and unlimited vertical capability - no modifications required. It also features exclusive Smart Technology via the Spektrum™ Avian™ 60-amp Smart ESC, and the BNF® Basic version is equipped with an AR637TA receiver that offers full-range telemetry including real-time battery voltage, current, temperature and more to compatible transmitters. Plus, with 7+ channel transmitters, the optional-use motor reversing function adds special ground handling and other unique capabilities. The composite-reinforced, hollow-core EPO construction provides a lightweight but durable airframe that's factory-finished in a striking, ready-to-admire trim scheme. Best of all you can have the Ultimate 3D flight-ready in less time than it takes to charge a battery because no glue is required for final assembly, and installation/removal of the wings is tool-free for easy storage and transport. This makes it the easiest and best choice for almost any pilot looking for their first or next biplane!
This is great! The assembly for this new one is indentical to the version two. Nice work Pilot Ryan. I just wish they had reinforced the mounting surfaces for the bottom wing. It can loosen over time. No matter, I'm still getting this one to replace my fallen U2! Great video Ryan, thanks! AirHammer out!!
E-Flite did it again.
Watching this now so i can prepare to assemble mine thanks Ryan
Some ultimate fun! I love the looks of this bi-plane so much!
I'm buying one, can't wait 😁
Ryan O. Hit that link broseph
Hi Ryan a pretty simple assembly this will be 1st by plane 😎👍
Good build video with nice pro tips
Thanks
Thank for the video. seems like it should go together pretty fast.. Hope they get them in stock and shipped out soon.
I think they will be shipping soon
Thanks for the great review! Just pre ordered mine cant wait!
Cool man thanks. Did you use my link?
Yes I did
That Landing Mount in the fuse, doesn't look to hot just into the Foam...wonder how long it will last before you have landing gear trouble.
Hasn’t been a problem so far
@@PilotRyanMedia I'll keep a eye on it for uploads on the utube. Only thing hold me from a purchase.
On 100% rates it rolls like a drill bit. only problem being a jet guy i forgot what my left hand is for
Why not use the nice ball link pliers I saw on the bench? I missed any comment on balancing the prop. Great assembly tips. Had an Ultimate 2 but this looks better. You made inserting those 4 inter-wing strut clips look easy. I remember they could be a bear to get inserted all the way. Got my order in. I thought this might be a good way to try out the Spektrum Smart technology. Ordered a 4S Smart battery to experience it all. Great presentation.
I can’t wait till that box contains a jet.
Awesome plane!!!! You got it so early I have some questions because I’m pretty new to the hobby does every different type of Lipo need a specific charger or can a charger be used for multiple types of lipos thanks
Pilot Ryan I noticed your trim were not set to center before you adjusted your aileron linkage...good idea to center before adjusting your linkage. JM2C
Thanks! Once I got to the field I noticed that too. I centered my trims and adjusted mechanically.
If you would send me your bitgo link and I will order this BF110 through your link I am on job site in a pick up truck and can't get it off your channe! Thanks
Here’s the 110 link www.bitgohobby.com/Dynam-BF-110-1500mm-PNP?affid=2
Pilot Ryan Media Thanks I don't know why it would not let me see links but I am good now !we will get this show on the road in a bit!
Good morning Ryan the wife is still sleeping so I'm up watching RUclips just saw this plane on Horizon Hobby's channel it looks like a beginner plane for the quick rapid advancement type flyer 😉👍
Did you balance the prop first?
Never
I saw you set your D/R at 100/75/50. How did your rates compare with the recommended control throws in the manual?
Where did you see that ? I set up by the book
Pilot Ryan Media On the top of page 3, quick start information. The control throws are given in millimeters.
There’s a page that’s percentages also. That’s what I did
100 hi 70 low 10percent expo high 5 low.i did the book
Pilot Ryan Media Thanks. It’s just that, in my personal experience, I have found that I have had to tweak settings so that 100% matched the recommended throws. I’ve had some that have been off by more than 3/8” of throw.
Still loving your reviews Pilot Ryan, but still hating Horizons darn awful UK customer service - so I won't be buying this one.....
Totally unnecessary to 'score' a collet IMHO. Die grinders use collets and spin much heavier tools than a prop to 20,000 ROM and they hold just fine
Yes it is when they fly off. The crap metal they use to make the shafts is super soft
Pan around and
Locked reciever HORIZON BS!!!!!!
