My mate has this boat and exactly the same happened about 80 yards out. Had to get my boat and take a line out which I looped around the boat and dragged it in. Couldn’t use it after that as we were worried we wouldn’t get it back. Unfortunately it’s out of warranty…

I have rippton cafch mini gps and its a brilliant boat, same controller as yours, I had issues with my controller after i updated the firmware i had to re- pair it to boat, the option is in the menu on the controller i had to put model number into the controller its in the battery compartment of the boat since recaliberating it its been absolutely mint, hope it helps you.

It’s just been a disaster from the moment I pressed pay on the website. I’ll see what the tackle shop say but at this point I just want my money back. @@HelloCarp If you want the GPS and a decent load capacity, it could be the Actor Plus. The new Vulcan also has GPS if you need it. I'd message them as they have always been helpful for me. I sure you'll have people saying there no good. But I have never had any issues along with loads of others. Their RUclips channel will give you a good idea on what each model can do. And you at least deal with them direct.
Name and shame that's not funny I bet it's not a cheap boat. I made a mistake years ago and got a badger bait boat one trip in the lake the servo rods snapped so it became a boi lol. Sent it back and bought a microcat mk1 when they was new and it's still works over 15 years later😊

Mate get the ridge monkey bait boat it's a wicked little bit of kit does exactly what you need and Iv never had any problems with mine. Spending that amount of money you would think it would work but these days it's all about money rather than the product, wouldn't even give them a second chance after that session! At this point I’m just so done with it I want a refund asap. Appreciate you watching mate. Im sorry to say but unless you pay silly amounts of money for a bespoke bait boat to do what you want it to do this can happen I've had my boat for about 2 years before the GPS went wrong although it's not that make. It's been fixed now and back to normal

@HelloCarp the boat I have is the Gowi osprey although I got it fixed its not as good as it was I think I've probably just got to reset my handset when things get better eg I manage to get a job I was thinking about the deeper quest what are your thoughts on them as I think I heard you say your mate has one
@ if your looking for a replacement then yea the deeper quest is a proper good bit of kit. Comes with everything including toolkit. The app being integrated is excellent. The boat was smooth to control the motors basically silent. He thinks it’s well worth the £1700 and I would agree seeing it out on the water
@HelloCarp I would like to upgrade only because the deeper will map the area for me and it costs about the same so I wouldn't lose too much by selling mine the thing I've got to do to mine is reset the gps using doing that thing with the handset only problem is I need to get a job first at my age that's easier said than done but thanks for the info though I hope they get yours fixed quickly

I was so close to getting it mate but got swayed with the GPS and app. Big mistake in hindsight. Have you had any issues with the hunter 750 in the wind? Or isit all ok?
No prob in the wind m8 infact I've had no probs at all it's a great boat battery life is really good a single charge lasted me 5days at festival fishery using it everyday as for customising Ruby roos on ebay do some cool decals hope it goes well with the refund and look forward to seeing your nxt baitboat vid with a happier ending

Also on the app there's a setting for training mode wich limits your distance to 50 meters.

Rt4 v4 is what i bought used probably 5 times no problem as of yet but im more a casting man tbf and its alot of faffing
