The most tragic thing that happened through all this was Barcelona forgetting their identity. The club that sold monsters like Romario and Ronaldo and carried on to even better times, particularly the early 2010's, completely panicking because they sold what could arguably be reasoned as their third best forward? Messi was obviously top, but between Suarez and Neymar, they're both pretty excellent. You could argue Suarez slightly edges it, they bring some different things so it's hard to compare but if you were to say either was better the other wouldn't be far behind.
