Of all the albums in Kylie's discography, i feel that this album is the most under-rated. She is hatching from her egg on this album, her wings unfurl on the next album and then she takes to flight on the one after. These 3 albums are the most important albums of her carer from the perspective of self discovery in becoming the artist she became, and still is to this day 💙

it's been a year, of waiting for this Deep Dive!!!!
It's excellent that you didn't skip this album, because it's amazing. the vocals are perfect. From this album you will see that she is always very open to trying new and exotic things, with good taste, in her albums. Unfortunately, it's an album that people don't value because it's very mature. In Kylie's discography, he is always forgotten by people.
My favourite EVER Kylie album. When I bought it on release in 1991 it was very different and the start of her artistry doing what she wanted * Word Is Out, Too Much Of A Good Thing, Live And Learn, If You Were With Me Now, No World Without You, Let's Get To It, Right Here, Right Now are my ultimate favourites from the album! ... I have to tell you, when Word Is Out was premiered on the radio it was so WOW and I reacted like you did in 1991! ... All the sampling was so fresh at the time in Club Culture, Hip Hop Culture and Street cool! .... "If You Were With Me Now" still manages to make me cry, watch the video (it is beautiful) ... Check out the B-Sides from "Let's Get To It" singles being: Do You Dare, Closer and Say The Word (I'll Be There) ... Give Me Just A Little More Time is a cover. You are correct, Kylie's vocals on Let's Get To It are STUNNING and carry on like that onto Kylie Minogue 1994 and Impossible Princess. Glad to see you back, I hate reactions but love yours! ... Wait till you get to "Impossible Princess" !!! - My 2nd favourite Kylie album!
Taylor, at 33:52 you were spot on with the “Let’s Go” cause that’s what she say’s, at the same time as you did. Play the track back and you’ll hear it. ❤
Kylie was allowed to review and redo her vocals for the first time on this album. There was more time to experiment at PWL studios at this time, especially after Matt Aitken left. In Australia, Mushroom Records went with the cool breeze 7'' mix of Word Is Out as both the album opener and single version. It charted higher in Australia too. I prefer it. . Too Much Of A Good Thing has a couple of uncredited samples. . Finer Feelings was remixed by Brothers In Rhythm for single mix.
I'm really happy to see your positive reaction to this album, especially The Word is Out. At the time, it was considered a flop as it was her first album that didn't enter the UK Top Ten. As you said, the album is very different to her previous offers, despite the fact it was still produced by SAW. It has always been one of my favourites of hers. The Word Is Out is such a tune, the video is lush, unfortunately a lot of Kylie fans don't seem to get it, or the album. The album cover art is worth mentioning too. It's giving gangbang vibes. hahaha. Love it.
So happy to read quite a lot of people saying that LGTI is their favorite album as I always thought I was literally the only one.Only one that I don't dig is GMJALMT as it kind of feels like a leftover from the EY album era.
Less SAW multi-tracking hence the pure voice. Kylie has pretty much perfect pitch and sounds multilayered without any effects. Her tone is uniquely brilliant. The perfect pop voice.
A great reaction to an underrated album👍 With a little more strategy in the marketing of Kylies 4️⃣th album, it could of been a bigger hit. Unfortunately, Kylie @ the time was on the way out commercial, particularly her association with Stock/Aitken/Waterman. Also on the production side, a few important people were missing from this album who were part of the 🌈KYLIE🌟 team on her previous albums. It explains the genre jumping and a few songs that should have been B-sides - Live And Learn & No World Without You 📀 Single releases should of been in this order: 📀Word Is Out 📀Give Me Just A Little More Time 📀Finer Feelings (single remix) 📀Right Here, Right Now & 📀Let's Get To It As for Kylies vocals 🔊 At this point in her career, she was wanting to prove that she could sing without the vocal processing that her voice was treated with in the early part of her career. Thanks 4️⃣ posting this 🤩👌
I love 'Let's Get To It', v underrated album. Too Much Of A Good Thing, one of my fav 'wish it had been a single - songs' and If You Were With Me Now is prob my fav Kylie duet and her vocals are so strong & passionate "If loving you is right then turn back the hands of time..." This album gave us a great tour too - great to see these songs, although the guy singing Keith's part in the duet was terrible. I Guess I Like It Like That, wow Kylie's vocals with all the dancing was spectacular . 33yrs later and it's still one of my fav tours.
I would like to leave you 3 suggestions for albums that I'm sure will blow your brain with such quality of creativity and construction: Roisin Murphy- Overpowered (2007) Roisin Murphy- Roisin Machine (2020) Roisin Murphy- Hit Parade (2023)
Great kylie period. Far more superior than the 'what will get the boys dancing on tik tok' music shes putting out now. Her vocals too pitched now. Her last 2 albums have been contrived and pandering. Bring back Impossible princess.
Absolutely * I was such a MASSIVE Kylie fan and Let's Get To It remains my favourite Kylie album and I loved it so much when I bought it in 1991 and still do. Her new "Tik Tok" crap so called "music" is dross and I unfortunately have got off the journey with Kylie which I never thought I would :-( ... Impossible Princess is my 2nd favourite all time Kylie album!
Bro, do I have to wait for over a year to see your reaction to Kylie's songs? 😭 I am so glad that you come back. 💖💖💖
Me too! ❤
Can’t wait for the next album that’s when we see Kylie evolve
I am literally so excited!
Exactly, I have been waiting for this moment for years. Once 4th album is done, I cannot wait until he hears the rest of her discography

YES!!!!
“I hope you enjoy this as much as I do” Little Janet Jackson “Control” sample. On “Too much of a good Thing” ❤
Let's Not forget she was barely 23 when this album came out!

My all time favourite Kylie album xx

i think it's wonderful that you're back on Kylie Minogue's album reactions. just in time for the new album. Regards!
Soooooo happy you’re back

I’m so happy you’re back 😊
It’s so good to have you back. Love your reactions 🎉
When you get to Fever can you do vodka shots with each track that gets hearted please 🙏
Its so cool seeing someone react to this album for the first time. This was the first Kylie album I got on CD. It’s mostly overlooked these days.
So happy to read quite a lot of people saying that LGTI is their favorite album as I always thought I was literally the only one.Only one that I don't dig is GMJALMT as it kind of feels like a leftover from the EY album era.
Great to see u back man!!!

I didn’t know this channel even still existed. Yay!
Next spring Kylie will be playing in States, hope you could attend and make a review !!
'Give Me Just a Little More Time' is a cover of Chairman of the Board's 1970 hit.
So enjoyed your reaction to this album. Just subscribed & checking out more from you. Cheers from Melbourne AUS
Live and learn is one of my favourite Kylie songs ever. I don't know what it is that grabs me, part of the underratedness is its appeal i think
A great reaction to an underrated album👍

As for Kylies vocals 🔊

🤩👌
YESSSS LETS GOOO 💛
let's hope it doesn't take too long to get in the good kylie eras
I'm afraid to say I stopped being a massive fan of Kylie after the light years album to be honest I think 90s Kylie will always be my favourite era

So funny, the only 3 albums of Roisin I actually love❤
YES! YES! YES!
Not Janet Jackson after her coming out as a MAGA 🤮
Great kylie period. Far more superior than the 'what will get the boys dancing on tik tok' music shes putting out now. Her vocals too pitched now. Her last 2 albums have been contrived and pandering. Bring back Impossible princess.
