You don't get to take immunity deals and then plead the Fifth
exactly, people thinking he finessed the court but don't realize that immunity deals usually come with clauses that you have to testify against the defendant, if you refuse to do so they are legally within rights to rescind the immunity deal.
Exactly...immunity comes at a price. If you don't hold up to your end of the bargain, they won't hold up to theirs. Amazing so many people actually think he's getting away with something because he's not. Tell or go to jail. That's the deal he made...AKA ...."immunity".

This judge is put of his league. He got played by a drop out. Dude will serve 6 months and be out on probation.
I suspect he was given a "queen-for-a-day" immunity deal however. Which usually means that it is conditional immunity based upon the full truthful cooperation with the prosecution. Which usually means that the prosecution is going to dismiss any previous criminal incidents done by Kenneth Copeland as long as he provides information on the record to his involvement or things he witnessed. If he got a full unconditional immunity deal then that was just a sweetheart agreement and a big mistake by the prosecution

Copeland or not statements and testimonies giving can still be used in court. Being thag he was given immunity anything that is contradicts his statements can easily have him facing his original charges. But will it shap the jury into deciding one way or I doubt it being that the state was smart and quick to work out a delicious deal that benefits him. The state knew that this offer would motivate anyone in Copelands shoes to do whatever was asked. Without that juicy deal their case woild have no grounds.
