Thanks this really helped me today. I just pulled them out for the first time and my piece was a flop. I tried several ways. So I decided to take a brake and look at a video. So happy it was yours! Thanks for being my angel today.
This was so interesting & informative 2 me! Thank you! You have to mix acrylic ink w/ alcohol to make dye for synthetic hair, cuz it doesn't work the right way if u use regular hair dye on it. I didn't know much about these inks,so I wanted to watch a few vids that might help me learn,& that's exactly what this 1 did..Keep making beautiful art & great videos..
Thanks. I'm thinking about using acrylic inks for grey scale underpainting to be followed up by transparent oil glazes. How does acrylic in behave with acrylic gessoed canvas? Will it mix with white acrylic to make shades?
Very clever! Two Qs: firstly, can you reactivate the mixed ink like you can with alcohol inks once they've dried? And secondly, does it have to be 91% alcohol or will any % do?
Sorry if by any chance you talked about this already, if you did, I didn't catch it! Quick question is you could help me... Does alcohol (india) ink stain porcelain/ceramic palette? Or does it wipes away like watercolors? I'm about to buy my first inks and don't want to ruin my watercolor palette!
thank you for your video. I tried and followed your tutorial wi the same acrylic ink brand, but when I'm mixing it with pure alcohol, it breaks the pigment, I'm getting grainy acrylic instead of beautiful effect like you've achieved. any ideas why?
On miniature scale is it possible to create blends easier? I'm eager to learn how paint works in so many ways to create illusions with minimal effort. Speed control for desired effects
Hey I am a nail technician and I like to use alcohol inks but came across some acrylic ink’s I got for a really good deal off of offer up and was wondering if I could do the same technique nails usually I would use alcohol inks They dry well on the nails after using the alcohol to do different techniques I don’t know if you’ve ever seen a tutorial on how people use them on nails

How does acrylic in behave with acrylic gessoed canvas?
Will it mix with white acrylic to make shades?
So that should also work with any brand acrylic inks also ...have you only tried it with Rowney inks ? Love the effects you get !
Great explanation!! What color blue was that? U said it was ur fav❤️
Hi kristine Kerr, I paused it when she was holding the ink bottle, it's Prussian Blue :)
Very clever! Two Qs: firstly, can you reactivate the mixed ink like you can with alcohol inks once they've dried?
And secondly, does it have to be 91% alcohol or will any % do?
That was my exact question that you asked. I guess she doesn't answer questions because I've seen several questions with no response from her.
I’d say nothing lower than 91% just to be safe. Only ever worked with 99%. But it working with 91% I’d say that or anything above is better to use
Thanks for this video ! Do you ever mix acrylic inks with alcohol inks?
Thank you so much . Can I use acrylic paint instead of acrylic ink?

I have the same problem, can it be that I used 99.9% instead of 91% alcohol? Thank you very much for the information.
Have you used the acrylic in,s and isopropyl alcohol on canvas with any luck?
On miniature scale is it possible to create blends easier?

Hello please what is the difference between acrylic ink and alcohol ink ? Thank you
Wow.. u explained it so well. Have you tried this on a canvas instead of Yupo and how is the result like?
If used on canvas you need to do multiple layers of gesso first (:
Do you use distilled water?
Mine say water resistant, is this different than what you're demonstrating?
Thanks you 😍😍😍
Hi wanted to know what s alcoholic inks and acrylic inks
Where to get isoprohyl alcohol
Where to buy those dippers
Thank you
You can get them both on Amazon; type in pipette for the dippers x
Nice video. Wondered how you use acrylic inks. Thanks😊
Thanks for watching! I'm glad it was helpful : )
Type of paper?
She used Yupo; so synthetic paper that is non porous. You could use another brand like Nara or even a white or clear plastic sheet x
Will it work with 99 percent alcohol
Rats....have I just wasted my $$ on a set of alcohol inks?
