While listening to a concert, unless it is fully heard, one may not feel he has full meal. Therefore please post any song fully otherwise your purpose is not served. From Alapanai, Pallavi, charanam, niraval & swaram without which a concert is not complete. When you post a standard concert of this sister's we feel our palate r not full. In future don't post any kirtanai unfinished. My experience in listening to Carnatic music is over 55 yrs, so I am suggesting you, pl don't feel this as advice?
It appears the sisters have been preventing organisers from video-recording their concerts.Not on;y that, they appear to have removed all their previous video recordings in Vijayavada, Bangalore etc from You-tube.That is very unfortunate. One popular vidwan's career nose-dived after he started making a fuss of this video-recording. Now, if they block, do they think that will help sale of their CDs. Who buys CDs nowadays. Pirated video recording will flourish damaging their reputation by poor recording quality. Instead they can make deals with organisers for better royalty etc. by allowing them to record. Show less
