It's time the Indian Govt, awards these RaGa sisters their countries' civilian award, starting with the Padma Bhushan, followed by Padma Vibhushan and finally the Bharat Ratna. I pray to God that I will be alive when they receive their well earned Bharat Ratna award.
Soon I pray that they get the highest recognition. They deserve every bit of it. I am listening to them for the last 8 years either their live concerts old recordings, each time I find them new. They evoke the emotion as in the first time. God's blessings to them in abundance.🙏

We could see the Delhi culture on front row -- Big shots without any iota of idea of classical music sitting - Where as in Southern India we have ISRO Chairman who can do 3 hour KACHERI himself -- We had IAS officer ( Venkata Krishna by name ) who was computer expert can do KACHERI himself and that is the difference -- One need to respect the SAADHANA of these great VIDWANs like great doctors -

Another difference is Carnatic classical is mostly sung praising the devi, devata only. This does not include the sringar ras between the lovers and praising of nature etc is not to be seen . Mainly it is devotion towards the almighty.

I think they are singing Vaata-atmaja-archita-paada = One whose feet is praised by the son of wind god. I think it is a valid paathabhedam
