I paid R9350 for clock spring replacement at BMW. This was investigation, labour, parts, wheel alignment and setting steering censor. I have an aftermarket warranty and thought it would cover it... obviously it didnt. I had the opportunity to extend my warranty with BMW but chose this stupid aftermarket company as its what the dealer recommended. (Not a BMW dealer) So many lessons learnt... ALWAYS choose manufacturer warranty over aftermarket warranty companies if you want to extend.
And I don’t think people have actually processed this. Muzi can afford to buy an average BMW however chose this route for educational purposes to us his subscribers. Truly admirable
and im one of them, i paid off my car and i think i can explore this 😂😂😂😂 Muzi will get my DMs when i get issues, the thing is i dont wanna get another car with a loan

That car made me a mechanic, I even changed the clutch kit myself, but it has been mostly reliable, I have done over 160k km since i bought it and it's never left me on the side of the road and its now at 290000km. Enjoy it.
Love how brand new your tools look! But I am on that journey too, last I did my own brake pads. My high mileage Volvo V50 has been at the workshop 7 weeks today.

Things to lookout for is the EGR themostat they usually break at the end part. its a common problem on the m47/57 engine engine oil cooler if it has not been changed. otherwise mechanically you won't touch that engine it's only service and minor repairs like boost pipes

Morena to open the boot without the power key just check under your license plate lights and a little to your right you'll see where the hard key in your keyfob goes

I will swap the two head lamps, if the problem persists then we'll have to check wiring, maybe there is a lose connection. so far we checked 1. fuses, we found a blown fuse we replaced it and the head light is still not working. 2. we checked the head light bulb and the bulb is not blown. 3. we checked the Salk and that is not the issue.
