Hi. We're interested in purchasing this home . If this is still available. Can you please send us the right person to contact as you mentioned in the video you're not the realtor. Will be greatly appreciated. Thanks .
I am in the final stages of a seven year restoration project of my family's 1850s home, with Queen Anne additions, in Texas. Finding a master craftsman with the patience and skill to lovingly restore all the elements of the house has made all the difference.
I wish my husband and I could’ve gotten into a home like this when we were younger, and I was less decrepit. I love when you showcase houses like this-for the person willing to go through a restoration, they would make fabulous homes with so much history!
I absolutely LOVE when you go over a house I have on my wish list. I can't physically go and look at these house because of my job and you just walk me through and do such an amazing job! So much knowledge! We appreciate the videos! 💜
Hi, and thank you for another great house tour! I do have a little favour to ask.... Would it be possible to inset a floorplan, and sort of mark, which room, you are showing, as you go through the house? It is sometimes hard to figure out, where exactly in the house you are, so that would be really helpful 😁😁😁 Also because some of the houses are really big 🙂
This beautiful amazing house is definitely a charmer. I wish I had the guts to leave Florida n move to Mississippi. I fell in love with it when you walked through the front door. You don’t find many old houses with 14 ft. ceilings n all those sweet additions in some rooms. The kitchen, Wow! It was huge with vaulted ceilings n sky light just plain awesome. Yep, wish I had the guts to move but at almost 72 yrs. old with some health problems. Oh well, I can dream can’t I. It kinda breaks my heart if someone pays this charmer n takes out all the original style of this beauty. ♥️♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍👍👍
As a Brit I love older homes. So many original features to work with here. You restore the home, keeping as many features as possible and adding modern features with a nod to the other features. I would probably move the kitchen here as it seemed an awkward space more suited to a colonial style sitting room for watching TV. British homes are often old but are not museums. You can add modern furniture. Nothing looks better in an old home than a stylish Chesterfield sofa which has been tweaked so its design is more modern. Whoever restores this beauty will be very lucky indeed.
UK here also Wendy, some of the prices are wonderful compared to here although I appreciate there will be investment in some modernisation & restoration. Love the craftsmanship also!
My husband was born in Mississippi and his mother is from Yazoo Mississippi,,spelled yahzoo pardon me ,,well they lived in an old shotgun house and his father built a river boat and they lived on the boat for some time back in the 19 40,s there's a lot of historic places that are very interesting and very educational to teach your children about ,,I love the history and these videos that people take time and effort to do them and share them ,,so enjoyable thanks have a blessed day
This almost looks like the exterior of XOmacenna’s house! What she brought her home back to! Love your channel! Love the cute banter between you and your husband, and the wonderfully delightful tours you do!
Just an idea, if possible, would it be realistic to follow the rehab of these properties you show. You know if the buyer would let you follow them through the process of restoring it?
Congratulations on your channel growth! I love watching the work you two do, the things I learn from you and the magic you two as a couple bring to your channel! I really like the homes for sale you have been showing as well! Too bad there aren't any homes in this price range in California! Lol! Love this home as well!
Whoever built that house wanted only the best. The amount of windows, transoms, features, bathrooms are all things you don't see. The kitchen is a little tragic but demo it out and restore it and the house is beautiful. If I hadn't already put too much effort into my 1920 house, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I wonder what the house's history is. A lawyer, doctor or someone with a lot of money put a lot of thought and effort into its design. It was showy back when it was built.
What a great house! So many interesting features. Definitely a little gem and could be beautiful with some TLC. The Yazoo downtown area is really nice, too.
Man this old timer is well worth the money it's beautiful and would make a great place to have a family live in it a good fixer upper ,,I just love the older houses my own was built in 1937 and it's charming with arched ceilings and an arch way from the living room to the dinning room the wall are cement and plaster not drywall and hardwood floors ,,love it
The size of this home is certainly deceptive. Also a benefit that the walls are all the same color, with no crazy dark paint to cover up or awful wallpaper to remove. That one skinny cabinet looks like it might have housed a fold-down ironing board. The tub handles in the first bathroom are the same as those on our original bathtub. The brick stack in the kitchen area is intriguing. I'd love to see that incorporated in the new design. The room sizes and amount of storage is terrific. Thank you for sharing this one!
Hi Laine, What a beautiful home this would be once restored!! I love the transoms(sp) doors and windows!! My thought tho with the doors, built ins, closets and radiators it might be a challenge to set your furniture esp. the bed....
I love your tours so much. If you had this home, would you strip the woodwork? I'd love to know what the oak underneath looks like. Every one of your home tours gives me even more of the old house wants. Someday maybe.
We’d love to strip them all but we weigh the work needed to the value add at the end. We typically strip the main mantle in the house and repaint the rest.
A lot of these old houses are kinda like the “Tardis” WAY bigger on the inside than they appear on the outside ❤️ what a cute property! Mississippi is on my list of states to visit.
I live in Mississippi and we have the prettiest homes that are wasting away I live in Lawrence County and there is one right down the road from me that used to be one of the prettiest homes anyone ever saw and it’s in desperate need of repairs, it’s been abandoned for years It makes me so sad to drive by and see what was once a grand home just wasting away
I could envision rehabbing this home, AND the frontage as well. You are so right in your estimation of the very unique architectural details being hard to find. Thank you so much Laine, for traveling to these places and exposing Americans to these otherwise “ hidden treasures “.
Wow. This little beauty really sneaks up on you. The front view doesn't look like much but the inside is amazing! This would be a perfect house for me & my husband & our 2 rescue cats, TaterBug & Bucephalas! But I have 3 questions...1. Is there a little crawl space attic? 2. Is there a basement? Cuz it looked like there was something down there when looking out the master windows. 3. There were a lot of fireplaces....but where are the chimneys? 🤔
Wow. That kitchen. Replace the beams with dark hardwood, maybe put some stained glass in the skylights, retro appliances and butcher block counters would be some things I would consider. not sure about the ceiling, wood lath or tin tile maybe. And not having the range in the middle of the room, not fond of that, but a good work island for baking... it can be fixed.
The kitchen... 😲The whole survey panning across the space, kept repeating "W. T. H?" Your "Mmm-Kay" = dead on. Saving grace details around the house. Transoms! Poor house... She probably cried when the created that kitchen.
Interested in purchasing the house . I contacted the dealer and agency several times through email and phone calls but no response whatsoever . I don't know if the house is sold or not. This was three months ago and after numerous attempts we gave up .
It looks like they tried to make the kitchen modern. Which is ridiculous in my book. But I do like the skylights. I don't think that was an '80s remodel I think that was a 90s remodel. That doesn't look like the style of the '80s. I don't know maybe I'm wrong
Wow that kitchen could be something really special. And those tubs, are you kidding me!?! So when you say 120k rehab does that include central a/c and plumbing, foundation, roofing blah blah blah? That seems so reasonable.

I agree with you. Sometimes the Zillow page will include it. Not this time. Although, it does show the lower level, too.
Ditto

This Victorian home, the ones that suprise you as you walk around the perimeter with so much detail and room, are some of my favorite.

Me, too! I’ve done 4. But I’m 76 now. Waaaay too tired! Lol

Yes!!!
This house is amazing. All that natural light, wow! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Gorgeous home, Lane! Great job presenting it.
I'm gonna cry omg this house 😫😭 Why can't it be here. Yazoo Mississippi? I love this house!!!! 1890 🗝️
This house will be absolutely gorgeous with some dedication and TLC!! Beautiful Victorian home!! Can imagine this house as a wonderful BNB!
What a pretty home. The exterior isn't very curb appealing, but it could be! I really liked it. Definitely needs a kitchen redo.
I was born and raised in Mississippi and when I married we bought a house very similar to this in Natchez Mississippi! LOVED IT 😍
What a gem! I can imagine the great memories that can be made there. Thanks for sharing, Laine! ❤
Another lovely choice!!! Those ceilings and 5he room sizes are fabulous!!!!!

Great job as always. Love the rooms - so huge with great lighting. Thanks for sharing.
This house is dreamy! I love all of the original windows!
What a gorgeous home! I love that it is just one floor living. I really could see myself living here. Thanks for sharing. Be safe and GOD BLESS.
I love how high the ceilings are in this home! ❤
So jealous of these houses that have their fireplace summer covers. Mine are sadly missing... What an adorable home and what a great price!!
Another wonderful video. Hopefully someone takes on this darling home soon. 😊😊

I love this one!! I love ALL the homes y’all show!! Great tour Laine!!
that music reminds me a distant train coming through the neighborhood

That last bedroom is overwhelming!
Gorgeous house, someone will be lucky to call it home.
Love it!! Thanks for the share

Absolutely beautiful home!
What a sweet house. It would be so cool to follow up in the future with the buyer to see how renovations are going 🙂
Wow! Another beauty 😮💚💜
The windows alone are a selling point here. 💗
Gorgeous house! I love the deep bathtubs and the tall ceilings. It's truly an amazing price for an amazing home.
It is a beautiful house would love to see it renewed
So much bigger than it looks from the outside! So much to love here! 🤩
Excellent house for the money. Well worth it. God bless 😊

Gorgeous home! I'd love to see this home fixed-up!
Such a beautiful home! I wish we could find something priced like that where we live but on a small acreage. 😍
What a gorgeous home. Wish I had the skills to restore it.
What a stunning house! (And the host and her gorgeous blouse are even more impressive 🤗)
That house is absolutely adorable!!! Is love to do it up. It would be my forever home.

This was one that if it was in a state that I lived, I would have gone for. Thanks for sharing!
I wish I could afford this home. I love it!
What a lovely home! Thanks for sharing....did I miss the 2nd house? Or on another video?
We will release an amazing building we toured while in Yazoo City in the coming weeks.
@@OurRestorationNation thank you! Yazoo City looks like a place I would love to check out!
Great house with major potential! The kitchen could be amazing. Enjoyed.
That would be my dream house! I wish I lived in the US and had a job in Mississippi and could buy the house.
This is amazing the ceiling though 🤩 you could get a really tall Christmas tree!
If only we lived in this area, what a bargain !!!
That’s a beautiful home. My husband would like it.
Wow. I would love to live there. With exception of the kitchen😢, the house is gorgeous. Just needs some love to bring it back to life.😊
Amazing appreciation of these beautiful places. 🌺😌
Linda casa, adoro este estilo de arquitetura.
New video, so excited!😻😻😻
The inside looks a lot better than the outside

I love this house!!!!
What a charming adorable super cute home!! ❤️ ❤️
Wow what a treasure. Love the colour on the walls. So much light throughout. What colour is the by and by who?
I’m sorry we don’t have any paint information.

A HUGE basement- we just couldn’t get in. I’m not sure about the attic.
@@OurRestorationNation Do you know if those are working fireplaces? I get so excited when I see you have sponsors! 🥰

That second bedroom would be hard to put a bed and dresser in, with all the walls being full of this that and the other. Overall it is nice.
I would love to have this home
The kitchen... 😲The whole survey panning across the space, kept repeating "W. T. H?" Your "Mmm-Kay" = dead on. Saving grace details around the house. Transoms! Poor house... She probably cried when the created that kitchen.
Omg…. I’d move back to Ms just to live in that house!!!
We are from Brasil 🇧🇷 Estamos te acompanhando! Somos investidores. Graciously, Vankesh & Christina
Thank you so much!
Damn must have got a great deal on gold colored paint seeing every room is the same color
IMPRESIONANTE y BELLA!!
UN TESORO!!
Thank you for saving great old homes!
Off topic: please recommend an interstate moving company you trust. Moving to New England.
We actually use PODS for our moves!
So charming! 😍
One thing I find interesting about these old houses is there's always so many doors it feels like a maze
My thoughts exactly! Always wondered why there's so many doors. I'd hate to have a bedroom thats accessible from another bedroom- privacy issues lol
I love old houses that have lots of doors.
Airflow
It's hard to believe that there's no broken windows given it was a rental
Would make a fantastic home!!
Oh man, I love this one!! If only......I were younger! 🙄🤣
Interested in purchasing the house . I contacted the dealer and agency several times through email and phone calls but no response whatsoever . I don't know if the house is sold or not. This was three months ago and after numerous attempts we gave up .
It may have sold. I don’t see it on Zillow

Very interested

Yes, construction costs in the south are MUCH lower. Of course we always assume and encourage a lot of DIY and bargain shopping, but it can be done
I think because of the size light and ventilation and electricity it should be a miniature concert Hall instead of a kitchen
Maravillosa
Wonderful home! But I have to get out of the heat! Lol
i want them all !
That's a steal ❤ Probably lots of work though
Beautiful house but with all the windows and doors in the bedrooms, where do you put your bed??
One thing that can be done is to remove the doors between the bedrooms. That should give you more wall space
Do you know of any such homes in Missouri? Close to KC area, but not too close, ha!
WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS, OF BEAUTIFUL HOMES, IS VERY THEREAPUTIC ..
